We connected on Hinge, March 1, 2022, starting with a commonality of both working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car! Lindsey worked there when she lived in San Diego and Casey was about to be promoted as a Branch Manager to the DIA location. Then the funny texting banter/questioning began, ensuring we had common interests and were indeed "normal" people on the dating site.

The first date at El Camino over queso and a margarita sealed the deal for more dates! Becoming "official" on April 1st.. no, not a joke this time. Following that, Casey and Lindsey got to know each more during outings to Golden Mill, A Balistreri Wine Dinner Tasting with Lindsey's parents and friends, Summer Concerts, Casey helping Lindsey in the yard - building raised garden beds and corn hole boards, a "Classy" 4th of July Party, a Birthday weekend in Dillion, and a Brooks and Dunn concert at Cheyenne Frontier Days!! After all these fun times and great connections, along with Casey's lease expiring, Casey and Chase (the cat) moved to Arvada with Lindsey and Laila (the dog) in September 2022.

Co-habitation went off without a hitch, at least for the humans! Chase and Laila have finally gotten used to each other, even though Laila still wants to be Chase's best friend and cuddle with him and play. That's a dog vs a cat. However, as a result of these interactions, Casey and Lindsey have created "voices" for both of their fur babies to amuse themselves as well as friends and family.

The fall and winter of 2022 were wonderful! Lindsey saw Dave Matthews Band, Casey's absolute favorite, for the first time. Suzy and Steve, Casey's parents, came for a nice visit from Newport News, Virginia. Colorado family and friends all made Thanksgiving, Christmas and ringing in 2023 perfect!

2023 started off with bang.. seeing To Kill a Mockingbird at the DCPA, Lindsey accepting a job with Integra LifeSciences, Goat Yoga and an Escape Room were successfully completed, plus a 1 year anniversary celebration!

Lindsey and Casey had a planned trip to Greece in May. They had a great time exploring Athens with close friends and then jetted off to Santorini for an amazing birthday party! On the last day, right before checkout, Casey asked Lindsey to take a walk to the top of Santorini Island for one last look and proposed!

We are so blessed to have found each other and can't wait to exchange vows in June!
