It’s the age old love story- of 2 people swiping right on the dating app. Once we matched- we chatted back and forth for 2 months going from chatting in the app, to texts, to phone calls prior to our first in person meetup. We met in person for the first time in December of 2021 in Coos Bay, Oregon. Lindsey suggested it because it was equal distance between where we both lived and she really wanted to see the “crab cage Christmas tree.” We met up at 7 Devils Brewing and both had the romantic meal of tuna melts and IPAs while we spent hours just talking and laughing the entire night until we shut the place down. We immediately planned to meet for brunch the next day. It was just as fun, if not more. We finally got to see that underwhelming "crab cage tree" and did a gorgeous hike with our pups. As the day ended, we both lingered in the parking lot as we didn’t want that weekend to end. That weekend turned into pretty much every weekend together and we made it official as a couple on New years of 2022. Since then, Lindsie moved from Southern Oregon to Corvallis where Lindsey and Lilly lived. We all (Linds/Linz and the pups) lived together in a rental house where Lilly and Cooper figured out how to not only co-exist but be siblings with each other. We traveled the US and Europe several times and had many travel adventures. Eventually we bought our own home, and we added another addition of Phenny (our cat). This past new year (2024), we traveled to Amsterdam and Scotland. It was on that trip that unbeknownst to both of us, we had both planned the exact same engagement proposal for New Years Eve. Needless to say, we were both surprised, amazed, and super ecstatic to become fiances. There’s no doubt that we want to spend our lives together very similarly to how we spent our first date, laughing, talking and simply enjoying each other. I think we both agree that we are definitely the best thing we ever found on the internet. #tilldeath
