Lindsey and Nick first met when she was 18 and he was 19. From the very beginning, people told them they were too young to understand love—let alone talk about getting married. But they knew what they had was real. As one of their favorite songs by Brand New puts it: “They're just jealous 'cause we're young and in love.”

Nick had just graduated and moved to Pennsylvania to attend air traffic control school at Beaver. He picked up a part-time job at Texas Roadhouse, where Lindsey was already working. In fact, she was the one who trained him—and yes, she definitely made him do all the annoying chores, like sweeping up the peanut shells on the floor. Despite that (or maybe because of it), they clicked right away.

They quickly discovered how much they had in common: shared goals, a similar sense of humor, and a love for adventure. They're different in plenty of ways too—Nick is the analytical one, while Lindsey leans more creative. But those differences only made them stronger, balancing each other out and deepening their appreciation for what the other brings to the table.

They fell in love fast and decided to move in together. Since then, they’ve called many places home—Virginia, Alaska, Louisiana. But no matter where life has taken them, they’ve always said that home is wherever they’re together.

Some of their favorite days are spent flying and hanging out with their two dogs, Piper and Amelia. After 12 years, this wedding has been a long time coming. Now that they’re back in Virginia, it means the world to have everyone they love here to celebrate with them.

Lindsey and Nick are incredibly grateful to have found each other early in life—and even more thankful for all the memories they've made along the way. They can't wait to share this next chapter with all of you.
