Our Wedding

Our Story...  Jake and I meet in the most romantic, and random way...NOT! We meet on good ‘ol Match.com! It actually is a funny story because my sister Mindy made me a match profile without telling me and was pretending to be me for two weeks. She finally told me and said that I had a few men interested in taking me out. One of these many suitors was my sweet Jake. I went on quite a few first dates before finally going out with Jake. He worked graveyard so I was going to scratch him on the list because I thought it would be to difficult to find time to spend together. Well we finally made it happen and we went to breakfast and got pancakes on our first date. We discovered we had a lot in common with both of us being Vegas born and raised. We also were both looking for the same thing in a relationship and both struggled with finding the right person. We hit it off and after that pancake breakfast we both never went on another first date again! He asked me to be his girlfriend two months later, and also asked me to go on a cruise with him & his friends all on the same day! We are always laughing together, going on adventures & traveling together, and spending as much time together as we possibly can even though his graveyard schedule was challenging. After a year and a half together we bought a home which we love so much! Then FINALLY on my 30th birthday and a week shy of 3 years together Jake got down on a knee at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant in Las Vegas and asked me to marry him with my DREAM ring!! It was one of the BEST days of my life and we both will never forget it! We can’t wait to become husband & wife and share our special day with all of you!! Thank you for being a part of our lives and supporting our relationship and life together!!

Our Story

How Do We Get To Jackson Hole, WY?    There are a few ways to get to Jackson Hole, WY. -The first one and the one we recommend for those traveling from Las Vegas is driving. Yes, the drive is a long one at about 10 hours but it’s such a gorgeous drive it goes by so quick. There are plenty of places to stop along the way too. You could also carpool with others you might know attending our wedding and all split gas costs!  -You can also fly. We know most of you are coming from Vegas so here are the flight options: Allegiant Air has just added a direct flight from Las Vegas to Jackson Hole it flys on Friday and Monday. The flight arrives at 8:30am in Jackson so plenty of time before our wedding begins around 4pm. You can also find flights to Jackson from Vegas with a layover stop in either St. Louis or Denver for about $200-$400 estimate round trip. You could also fly into Idaho Falls, ID on Allegiant Air for around $120-$190 round trip. You will have to rent a car and then drive 2 hours to get to Jackson Hole.    Please let us know if we can help you figure out your travel arrangements!

Where should we stay?    We have two courtesy room blacks available for our guests.    Cowboy Village Resort has cozy log cabins available in many different sizes to accommodate your family size. They are located about 6 miles from the wedding location which is about a 13-20 minute drive depending on traffic.    Snow King Resort is a newly renovated hotel resort with a modern cowboy vibe. It has a bar, restaurant and a pool at the resort. You’ll also find some other fun activities near by. It is located about 7 miles from the wedding location so about a 15-20 minute drive. They also do provide a free airport shuttle if flying directly into Jackson Hole Airport.    Both locations you can mention the Walden Wedding for a special room block rate.    Also AirBnB and VRBO have some great vacation condos and homes available. Staying in Wilson or Jackson Hole will be your best options for those.  PLEASE BOOK ASAP!!! Summer is Jackson Hole’s peak season so rooms book up extremely fast!!   Please let us know where you end up booking. Jackson Hole, WY is AMAZING and has so many fun things to do!! We would highly recommend taking some time either before or after the wedding to explore some of the many amenities. Our favorites are heading to Jackson Town Square for fun shopping and eating, white water rafting on the Snake River and visiting Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.

Popular park with iconic elk antler archways at each corner & a grassy center with trees & benches. Enjoy awesome dining, bars, shopping, and entertainment.
