Nestled in Historic Katy, Mara Villa offers upscale elegance with modern chic accents, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. For those familiar with the area, it's conveniently situated near the Katy Mills Mall

✈️ George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) – Located about 45 minutes to 1 hour from Katy, this airport is ideal for those arriving on major airlines or international flights. ✈️ William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) – Located about 35-45 minutes from Katy, this airport is smaller but convenient, often used for domestic flights, especially Southwest Airlines. We recommend checking both options to see which works best for your flight and travel plans. From either airport, rental cars, Ubers, or Lyfts are readily available for a comfortable ride to the venue or hotel. Depending on when you are flying in we are also happy to come and pick you up!

August is Texas’ hottest month, and Katy is no exception! You can expect daytime highs around 95°F (35°C) or higher, with high humidity that can make it feel even warmer. Evenings offer some relief, typically cooling down into the 70s or 80s, but the humidity often sticks around. To stay comfortable, we recommend light, breathable fabrics, comfortable shoes, and keeping hydration in mind. Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat if you plan to spend time outdoors.
