We thought it would be fun if we wrote our own take on how we met and the proposal. Please enjoy :) disclaimer: Linh did not proofread Kenny's sections

Linh:

We met while working at IMVU in 2016, Kenny was the lucky engineer that was assigned to work on my request. This was when we first became acquainted but we didn't really get to know each other until the beginning of 2017. We started chatting more then and that's when I thought "oh, this guy is kind of weird". As we spoke more, we became closer over our love for video games and our immature sense of humor. I knew he was the one when he picked me a flower from the bush outside our office for Valentines Day and there was a spider in it. I thought "what a dummy, he's great." Shortly after, we fell in love, moved in together, and now here we are.

Kenny:

Linh and Kenny worked while working together at IMVU. They wanted to go see La La Land and asked their coworkers if they wanted to join them and everyone said no so they went to go see it by themselves. Afterwards they wanted to go see Elefante and asked their friends if they wanted to join them and everyone said no so they went to go see it by themselves. Next they wanted to play Final Fantasy XIV and asked anyone they knew if they wanteded to join them and everyone said no so they went to go play it by themselves. Because they kept doing things together by themselves they eventually fell in love and now vow to do everything together by themselves for the rest of their lives.

Linh:

I was looking forward to a nice walk in the park with our dogs and our friends. I remember Kenny being so weird during the proposal trying to direct me to a very specific spot by our local lake. I was resistant because the spot he was trying to take me to had a lot of angry geese and weeds. While I was worried about the dogs, he decided to kneel down and propose. I said "okay" but at the same time I was worried he kneeled down on goose poop. Our friends were also hiding at the side as witnesses, it was amazing to have so many loved ones and our dogs with us at this time. It was a ridiculous, non glamourous, very Kenny proposal and I'll always remember it.

Kenny:

I proposed to Linh at Lake Elizabeth near our house in Fremont. Unfortunately it wasn't perfect because I did not account for their being so much goose poop everywhere. In addition I brought the dogs because Linh loves them more than she loves me but Raylen ended up getting a ton of burrs in his paw and coat which we (mostly Linh) spent the next hour or two picking out of his coat. It may not have been perfect but it makes for a great story which you get to read now.
