What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving about 15–20 minutes before the ceremony begins to find your seat and get settled. We’ll be starting right on time!
What if I didn't RSVP in time?
We kindly remind you to RSVP by the specified date to ensure your spot. If we don't receive your response in time, we might not be able to accommodate you due to church requirements. We look forward to celebrating with you if you're able to join us!
Is there a dress code?
We kindly ask guests to wear polished, daytime-appropriate attire. Think light suits, midi or maxi dresses, or elevated separates, something you’d feel comfortable wearing to a daytime wedding at a beautiful church.
Out of respect for the occasion, we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing jeans, flip flops, or white.
For ideas and inspiration, please refer to the Photos tab, where we’ve shared a guest attire mood board to help guide your outfit choices.
Will there be an open bar at the reception?
We won’t be offering an open bar during the reception, but don’t worry, there’s a full bar located on the ground floor of the Dallas Marriott Uptown if you’d like to grab a drink or hang out before the reception begins!
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Out of respect for the sacredness of the space and the church’s policies, we kindly ask that guests refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony.
We’re having an unplugged ceremony so we can all be fully present in the moment (and so the pros can do their job!).
Feel free to take as many photos as you’d like after the ceremony on church grounds, and of course, at the reception!
Are children welcome?
We adore your little ones, but we’re keeping our wedding intimate.
Only the children specifically listed on your invitation are included. When you RSVP, you’ll be able to see who in your household is invited.
We kindly ask that no additional children be brought. Thank you for understanding and helping us create a special atmosphere for the day.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited space, we can only accommodate formally invited guests. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed within the RSVP. Otherwise, only the people named in our invitations will be in attendance. Thank you for understanding!
