Linsey and Ellie met at a county fair while showing dairy cattle in 2006. Even though Linsey switched to showing Angus the friendship grew and the pair have stayed close since. Ellie is very accomplished in the Holstein and Jersey Cattle breeds and travels the country to score Jersey’s.

Jake and Levi met in middle school their friendship has grown over many years and experiences.

Jake and Luke met in Junior year of high school. They have shared many memories and adventures together.

Linsey and Hannah met at College of the Ozarks when both we’re looking for a new roommate. Neither would have guessed that they would become so close in just the 2 years they spent at CofO. Hannah is from Florida and currently lives in Arkansas as a Lab Technician.

Jake and Kyle met through work back in 2018. Although not in the same state they have stayed close.

Linsey and Karley met through their dads and began to grow closer as they shown cattle together at County and State fairs. They even attended the National Gelbvieh show in Mississippi together which was an amazing opportunity to spend time together doing the things they love. While having a change in scenery, cattle shows are no vacation but they feel like it with Karley!

Lauren and Linsey met at cow shows and sales but really got close when both girls had the Checkerhill calves at the same time and began talking more leading up to National Junior Angus Show in 2018. Many shows and years later the girls keep in touch during their life changes! Lauren is an accomplished student and Freelance Photographer when not at home helping to run her family operations.

Colette is the mother of Linsey. She recently retired from 20+ years of teaching and now watches her grandchildren and is the master of the paperwork and registration at Rogerrosa Dog Kennel. Colette doesn’t shy away from the difficult tasks.

Dwayne has been the rock behind many of Linsey’s hobbies; from driving through many states for cattle shows on his days off work to taking over dog kennels when Linsey left for college. Dwayne is now a full time farmer and operates Rogerrosa Dog Kennel.

As many of you know Jake’s Mother passed in 2021. She got to know the couple and often pushed them to spend time together finding things she needed. Cathy had given the couple advice on each other many times and would be overjoyed to see the couple today. Jake and Linsey have many things to honor the loved ones who have passed on set out at the venue.
