It all happened like a movie....Linzee was a 6th grade teacher and Cory's youngest son, Krew, was in her class.

Cory was speechless throughout the entire conference. Little did Linzee know that after the conference was over, Cory asked Krew all about her. After getting the go ahead from Krew, Cory sat outside of Linzee's classroom until she was done with the rest of her conferences. As she was packing up to go home (over an hour after Krew's conference) Cory walked in. He asked if she would be ok with going out with her student's dad, and since Krew had already agreed so did Linzee. Numbers were exchanged and he even asked if she would go to dinner that night. Unfortunatley, she already had plans with her cousins and aunts to go to a concert. He then asked about that weekend and once again she already had plans. Linzee and her family were going to Las Vegas for another concert. After being turned down twice, Cory thought she wasn't interested. To make matters worse, Linzee didn't text him until she was on her way home from Vegas several days later. After he finally heard back from her they set a date. Cory showed up with 2 dozen red roses and a twelve pack of Redbull (he had noticed she had been drinking at parent teacher conferences). Obviously Linzee was smitten by this. They went to dinner and since they weren't ready for the night to be over, they drove up to the mountains to talk some more. Linzee was thinking that he was taking her to the mountains to kill her. That in fact did not happen. They had a great time talking about their interests and listening to music. As soon as Cory dropped Linzee off he immediately text her and said "I want your hand back in mine, go to a movie with me tomorrow". So they went out the very next day and were inseparable after that.

Though they didn't get to happily ever after until years later, Cory and Linzee know without a doubt that they are meant to be together. Nothing could ever keep them apart.

April 22nd has been a long time coming. We are so excited to finally get married!!
