Our Wedding

Luke and I met through 2 mutual friends. It was my friend Randall's Birthday. We stopped into Old Chicago, which we frequently hung out at. I saw Luke sitting at the bar and wondered why I had never seen him there before, when everyone already knew him. He kept looking over at me, and I looked behind me to make sure there wasn't someone else he was looking at. Later that week, he stopped into my work Fuzzys Taco Shop. Just so happened that Randall was sitting at the bar hanging out. When I saw Luke he was grabbing a beer, and I said "Hey didn't I see you the other night? Randall is sitting at the bar" and he said "Yeah, cool ill go say hi". So he went to go talk to Randall. I was wondering why he had a vest on, and I asked him about it, he said it was for riding, and I joked that he had a Vespa. (That's always been a joke between us). I had told him that I had to close the bar and that I would stop by Old Chicago afterwards. When I finally got to Old Chicago, I saw there was a girl talking to Luke. I noticed she had quite a lot to drink. I waited sometime debating if I should save him or if he even needed saving. I took up the courage and went and saved him. We stayed there talking late, and he walked me out to my car and we kissed. We haven't been able to stop talking to each other since that night. You could say the rest is history. [April 27, 2019] He proposed August 22nd, 2020 on the beach in Carlsbad, California. That just so happened to be Luke's first time to the beach, and he also knew how much I loved the beach. The fact he took all of that into consideration, when proposing to me, is the reason I fell so in love with him. We bought our first townhouse November 16, 2021. We had been renting it for 3 years prior. We love the location of it, its close by to everything.

We love the zoo! This zoo is a little bit of a hike, but it is so much fun!! From feeding the giraffes to seeing penguins.. We love it here!

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

This is one of my favorite spots! I love to go here when I need to clear my head, you can see all of Garden of the God's from up top this hill. Luke and I took photos here one year for our Christmas cards. If you need help finding it, just reach out and I can give you directions.

Mesa Overlook

Which brings me to the heart of the city. Garden of the God's. We love taking a drive through here. It has so much history and it is truly breathtaking. Photos do not do this place justice.

Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center

Red Rock's is an amazing, famous, Amphitheatre. During the day when there is no concerts, you will find people exercising here. Almost as if its a daily routine. They also have a giftshop that is open. So much history in one place! If you have time, this is an awesome place to check out.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

San Isabel Lake is what is pictured, which is located in the San Isabel National Forest. If you like to go on long drives, this is an activity for you. Its about an hour south, give or take on traffic. The drive is beautiful once you pass Rye, Colorado. This is one of my favorite places to go, and you can also fish on the lake. They have some awesome trout to fish for, and you can walk around the entire lake which is cool too. Reminds me of a lake back home I grew up next to.

Pike-San Isabel National Forest

If you are looking to do some hiking while you are here, this is my favorite place to do it. They have quite a lot of trails, and they even have bike jumps and a huge dog park. The hike is normally 3 miles give or take which way you choose to go. They also have a lake here too. Just be prepared for hills!

It is located just 30 minutes from both Denver and Colorado Springs, making it easily accessible to guests. The staff at this family-owned ranch are enthusiastic about welcoming couples to their mountainous retreat. The Ceremony will be held at Lower Ranch on the Mountainside at 3:30pm, and the reception will follow at Albert's Lodge/The Colorado Room.
