We met on the mean streets of boarding school in Austin, Texas. Marcela and I frequently get mistaken as sisters (I take that as a compliment) and have been on many adventures together over the past 12 years together.

Jennings and her husband, David, affectionately refer to me as their sister wife. We are sorority sisters from the College of Charleston, but we became extra close when I also moved to the Washington, DC area. I am lucky enough to call her younger son Rhett my godson. Both Rhett and his older brother Colton are members of the ring brigade.

Kelly is my older sister. She spends her time raising the kids and keeping all of the children in Ft. Worth dressed to the nines with her monogram business. She lives in Ft. Worth, TX with my awesome brother-in-law Lewis, two precious nieces & handsome nephew, our flower girls and ring bearer, Kiley, Kate & Graham. I hope to be half the mom she is!

Molly and I have been besties since bid day. College roommates, sorority sisters, social chairs, college activity board members, queens of mischievous…there aren't many stories from college that don't involve MKD.

Eliza transferred to CofC and I first met her going through informal recruitment for Phi Mu. Molly and I immediately wanted her to join our sorority, so we basically wouldn't let her out of our site all weekend until we could formally give her a bid. She is one of the funniest and caring people I've ever met.

Tracy and I quickly became friends on bid day because of her love for Texas. We've remained friends because of our love of Myrtle Beach, monograms and making a difference in the world. Tracy does it all and knows everyone, which inspired me to take leadership roles within the sorority and on campus.

Skylar and I were also Mus together at CofC. We instantly connected in our love for the beach, boys, living in one of the best cities in the world and being strong independent women. An original member of our supper club LICK – Ladies in Charleston Kitchens – Skylar and I have shared many laughs, tears and beers together.

Mary Tyler is my first and favorite little sister. MT is my cool friend who lives in New York City. She is originally from Norfolk, Virginia so we've gotten the chance to spend a lot of time post-college exploring the northeast. She is always a train ride away to school me on all the hip new restaurants and trends…my very own Stefan, only cuter.

Emily was one of my first friends in DC. The very first time we hung out outside of work, we drank booze out of brown bags at a drag race…and no not cars. Literally drag queens sprinting down a street in high heels. We worked together at Georgetown Law and shared an office, which means I spent more time with her than anyone else for a few years.

No, I didn't cut all of my hair off. Halima, or Halley, is one of Chris's closest friends. Chris and Halley met in law school at American University. She is a native Washingtonian and owns a house in the same neighborhood as us.

In it together since 14 months into the beginning of life, I am so proud to have my little brother as my best man. He's an example I want to live up to as a husband to Diane and father to Noelle and Timothy. Also, we needed a doctor in the house in case there is a medical emergency.

Stephen is one of Lisa's closest friends and long-time partner-in-crime from their days in Charleston. We are blessed to share many wonderful times and trips with Stephen and his husband Joe, our friends and live-the-good-life advisors. Also, Stephen is my go-to person for advice on all things Lisa Buckley.

Friends since before we could cruise North New Braunfels Avenue looking for parties in high school, Brad is one of my oldest friends. We share the unbreakable bond of San Antonio Spurs Fandom. He is a friend who can always be relied on even though we get few opportunities to see one another. He and his wife Justine live in Austin, Texas where they are proud puppy parents.

Spending time with Jack, Lisa's brother, guarantees a fun and often adventurous time. While we are sad to be losing him and his girlfriend, Jenn, to the City of Brotherly Love this year we will have even more excuses to visit Philadelphia and wherever else in the world he and Jenn end up.

Ken and I met in a coffee shop in Baltimore where we both used to study when we attended Johns Hopkins. Ken is the reason I am half as worldly and cultured as I think I am. If I ever need reminding of how to enjoy life, Ken is that reminder. We are lucky to be neighbors with Ken and his wife Lisa so we can enjoy their scrumptious cooking and impecible hosting skills.

Mr. Texas himself. He's even in the oil bidness. Lew is the awesome husband of Lisa's sister Kelly and the father to our flower girls, Kiley and Kate, and ring bearer Graham. He lives in Ft. Worth, Texas and keeps the Kinard train running on time.

Jimmy was either the first or second person I met in law school. He and bridesmaid Halley have yet to figure out who was first. He is always the person who can make me reconsider an already well-considered opinion. If you ever need to know anything about recent developments in the labyrinthine world of securities law and regulation - he's your man. Also, you should totally ask him how to play Gwai Jin.

Best. Dressed. Man. I. Know. Period. Full Stop. We met in law school and have been co-conspirators scheming to run our little part of DC since then. Every day he serves as an inspiration to put in just a little more hustle. Also, do not mess with the District of Columbia or Rich will be the one bringing the Attorney General's hammer down on your head.

Lisa's former roommate and present wedding style coordinator. Blake will always provide ready excitement and a little bit of sass. He has a keen eye for all the finest things in life without ever taking himself too seriously. If you are ever at a party...sit next to this one.

Dan and I met as roommates in a group house in the wilds of Upper Northwest DC. Our first conversation quickly turned to politics - we are on opposite ends of the aisle- and have been great friends ever since. It is always important to have a person who challenges your core beliefs and Dan is that guy for me. When Lisa and I get together with Dan and his wife Allegra, the laughs and wine never stop. We also love sharing the same church as the Wilsons.

Our sweet nieces and nephew who can always be caught sporting TCU apparel. I am so excited they can be part of our day!

Our sweet niece Noelle just got promoted to big sister in January! Timmy has not decided just yet if he will be making an official appearance with the ring brigade :)

Colton and Rhett are like nephews to us. Lisa is Rhett's godmomma.
