We recommend that guests arrive to the ceremony space by 5:00 PM to ensure everyone is seated on time (& for pre-ceremony refreshments). Grab a drink, find a seat, and get ready for the night to begin!

All invited guests will be listed on your formal invitation. If your invitation is addressed to you "and guest," you are welcome to bring someone. Due to limited space, we can only accommodate our closest friends and family. Thanks for understanding!

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an Adults Only celebration. Hire a babysitter for the night and let loose. We appreciate your understanding!

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Thayer Hotel in West Point, NY. There will be a lawn ceremony on The Gardens at The Thayer. Cocktail hour will be held half inside, half outside (tent covered) right across from the Washington Ballroom where the reception will take place.

The reception will end at 11:00 PM EST, but don't worry - the party isn't over yet! Please be sure to join us directly after for a cash bar after party hosted at The Thayer Hotel Rooftop Bar & Lounge.

Yes! Please go to the "Travel & Accommodations" page of our website to get more details and information regarding reserving a room(s) in our reserved block. The hotel will accept reservations at the group preferred rate until the cutoff date on Monday, July 28, 2025.

Yes! Valet parking is complimentary and available 24 hours. Guests may pull up to the hotel and have their vehicle parked for them, or guests may self-park and receive golf cart assistance from the parking lot if need be. Hotel parking for all guests is at the bottom of the hill from the hotel. Designated Handicap Parking spaces are allotted in the front of the hotel entrance; the hotel valet attendants can assist you with unloading and parking your vehicle.

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outside in The Gardens. If there is inclement weather, we will move the ceremony and after party to inside the hotel. Regardless of weather, the cocktail hour and reception will be in their designated areas.

All individuals must present photo identification for entry! At the Thayer gate, all visitors over 16 will be asked to show a valid photo identification, such as a driver’s license, school ID, or a US passport, etc. Thank you!
