Our Wedding

It all started with a joke… who would have guessed it would have ended at the altar! Back in 2019, Lisa’s brother Anthony was marrying his beautiful bride Katie in New Orleans. Lisa needed a date and decided to prank her friend Dave and ask his brother, Kevin, to go with her. Lisa and Kevin had hung out in group settings, and Lisa thought he was cute, so why not?? The plan was to keep it a secret until they all showed up in NoLa together. Well, the wedding trip comes, Kevin, Lisa, Lisa’s sister, Carly (also Dave’s good friend) and brother-in-law Scott all FaceTime Dave from down south. (Dave may or may not have been in a hospital bed at the time… but that’s a story for a different time). The prank was a success… in more ways than one! Lisa and Kevin spent the weekend together and have way more fun than you’d expect from a prank date. After the weekend, Lisa sadly had to return to Maine and Kevin went back to Philly. But they couldn’t stay away for too long- Lisa visited Kev in Philly, Kev visited Lisa in Maine, they even met up in the middle in Boston. Eventually, Lisa decided to move back home to Philly (with Kev driving the U-Haul for 12 hours) and the rest is history. While it may seem like an unusual start, the beginning of our story quickly made us realize we were a match. Some may call it a dark sense of humor, others a delightful antic. In any case, we had each found our person. Our love story is grounded in humor, family, and travel. We make each other laugh, travel the world, and grow more in love every second. We are so excited for you to share in our day and thank you deeply for being a part of our lives.
