Downtown Aquarium isnt your ordinary aquarium. Not only does it feature marine animals, but it is also an entertainment complex, with a Ferris wheel, carousel and spectacular restaurant. Its home to around 300 species of marine life and many interesting exhibits. You can view alligators at the Louisiana Swamp, spot a giant octopus at Shipwreck, or encounter piranhas in the Rainforest. While dining at the restaurant, you can even observe scuba divers feeding fish in the floor-to-ceiling fish tank. Tickets are required for the exhibits and individual rides, but there are all-day passes that provide better value. You can save even more with the Houston CityPASS.
