I've know Albert Koshimune since we were 15 years old. We met on AOL Instant Messenger on accident and then became good friends ever since. I can honestly call him one of my best friends. We have also been roomates a couple times in the past. I knew as soon as the thought of marriage entered my mind, that Albert would be my Best Man. We have both been through the ringer together and we always took care of each other when times got rough. I can consider Albert my brother from another mother.

I have known Camille for over 10 years, we started as new nurses working together and the love blossomed into the most beautiful and best friendship! Camille has always been there every step of every way. Before I even asked her to be my matron of honor, Camille was so ecstatic about helping me in any way possible. She was more excited than I was of my engagement! Of course, she was one of the first I told. She has been through so much with me and our adventures never end. Not to mention, she has the cutest kiddos who bring me so much joy!

I've known Eric Roachell since we were 15 years old !!! We met at Peninsula High School freshmen year and it was off to the races after that. Through good times and bad Eric has been a positive impact on my life in many ways.

Vicky! My oldest sister! She has been an inspiration to the family. She definitely fulfills her role as the eldest sister and keeps everyone on their toes. My support when it comes to family discussions. Vicky always makes sure you are taken care of. Her success as an independent woman transcends time. She always makes me feel like I can go to her for anything!

Teresa and I go way back, I'm talking high school days. Moving from Long Beach to Westminster was not an easy transition. Teresa really made a difference. High school, you're so concerned with trying to fit in but Teresa stood out. She was unique, cool and always gave you the jacket off her back. I remember all the days of walking to her house and hanging out after school, being neighbors and having someone close by that wasn't a sibling. Teresa's creative drive makes her so special!

Marcus and I have been great friends since 6th grade. We met skateboarding when we were kids! The fun definitely did not stop there. His nick names were "Tiger Woods Jr" or "Marky". After the years of friendship we coincidentally came to the same career path in the end.

Arlyn, my soul mate from nursing school. We met in our first class together for nursing. Our friendship took a higher level when we realized we bonded over the premature loss of our mothers. Arlyn always understood me and I always felt like we were meant to meet. Our mothers intentionally set us up. Only something pure angels would do. And surprisingly, both our mothers share the same burial grounds. Arlyn always makes time for me and sharing so many common interests is just icing on the cake. The peanut butter to my jelly !

Kyle and I have been getting into mischief together since 6th grade. We met at Miraleste Intermediate in Palos Verdes. My uncle lived one block over from Kyle and we used to walk home together everyday after school. Kyles family treated me as family throughout our childhood and ill never forget that.

Steven has been a friend of mine the longest out of all my groomsmen. We met each other at Holy Trinity Catholic School in San Pedro. I believe we were 11 years old when we met. We went through a lot as kids and always looked after each other. We lost touch a few times but always seemed to remain good friends.

Yisselle! This girl, is my ride or die for sure! Yisselle always stands up for me and has my back. We laugh way too much. I've know Yisselle since we started working together as nurses, from night shift to day shift-we literally took every step together. Yisselle is always down to do things with me. From workouts to the food we love to eat. I can always count on her for a good time. Sometimes, I wonder "what would I do without her"?!

Ronald "Obama" Hightower has been a friend of mine for about five years now. We met each other through our girlfriends at the time. Ron's wife had been a good friend of Lisa's since they were kids. It is definitely never a dull moment when Ron is around. The smart ass remarks and laughs are always flowing in his presence.

Megan and I go back to the days of working together as nurses on the same unit. Megan has always been beyond her years, more mature than I'll ever be and absolutely elegant at it. She has a heart of gold, always ensuring that I was okay or taken care of. She always is so involved in anything she sets her mind to and gives her best every time. She goes above any expectation you ever have. And even though life gets busy or you move further away, it's like you're always there.
