We start our story in 2009. Met at a chance spot and my friend [maid of honor] says I see the perfect guy for you.
I said girl no ma’am lol.

Well we met and started a conversation and we tried to light the flame. It wasn’t time and we both realized that part!

We always remained thee absolute best of friends and our families kept in touch as well.

Derek was there for the most pivotal part of my life when I lost my dad. I wouldn’t have survived that without his support and unwavering love.

Fast forward through life and here we have a chance to light the flame again. April 2023.
We said if we make it to each other again we’d make it because it would be destined by God! Covered in his blessing and our will to be one.

Derek is for me and I give thanks every day for him.
