Attendee Information
Transportation to and from Venue
You may have already guessed, but we have exactly 1 Uber driver in Taos, and no Lyft last time we checked! If you are not renting a car please let text Lisa at 415-202-4316 to let us know the location of your airbnb or hotel. That way we can plan to have a friend carpool you to the venue. Sober volunteers will be running people back to their hotels/airbnbs throughout the night.
Williams Lake Hike - Have a Beer on Us!
If you aren't up for the Williams Lake hike on Sunday (3.7 miles at around 11,000 ft) we understand! We would still love for you to join us up at the Taos Ski Valley. The Bavarian restaurant at the trailhead will have reserved tables for our guests, and the first beer is on us. They have an excellent menu, check out below!

Saturday Morning Activities
Prior to the wedding, we encourage exploration of our little mountain town. You can walk around the plaza area to go to dozens of little galleries and several museums (Fechin Art Museum is our favorite!) If you didn't get a chance to see the Rio Grande on Friday, take a drive down to the John Dunn bridge area for swimming and hot springs. If you want a secluded spot outdoors to relax, text us....we don't advertise our best places on the internet shhhhhhh.....
Tips for Staying at Elevation
Taos is located at ~7200 ft in elevation, and the Taos Ski Valley is around ~10,500 ft. Elevation sickness is not uncommon at these heights, so we have a few tips and tricks to help you acclimatize! 1) hydrate hydrate hydrate! Drink 2x the water you would normally drink, and skip alcohol for the first 12-24 hours or so. 2) get good sleep. You may find that you'll wake up a few times in the night as your body adjusts to the lack of oxygen. Drink water throughout the night and go for an early bedtime your first night here if possible! 3) feeling bad, go for oxygen. Supplemental oxygen can be found in several grocery stores and Walgreens in town. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us and we will have some brought to your hotel or airbnb.
