Dirk and Lisa met in Kalispell April 14th , 2012 at the famous local Rainbow Bar. Dirk was with his racecar buddy, Layne Pierson and Lisa was with a group of coworkers for an after wedding party. Dirk was trying to impress Lisa with photos of his farm dog Haylie Bugs. The blind Shitzu was not keen on having anyone take her place riding shotgun in the farm pickup, or for that matter, taking up any space with her man. Haylie has since passed after 14 years of being Dirk right hand farm dog, but Lisa and Dirk are forever grateful for Haylie and her introduction.
