Ben and Lisa’s journey began long before they even knew it. They both attended King David Jewish Community Day School, crossing paths without ever truly meeting—until fate (and Hinge) brought them together in September 2023.

Their first date at Obon was so fun that they couldn’t let the night end, so they continued the night at Fat Ox where they quickly realized how deeply their values aligned. Not long after, Lisa pulled the oldest trick in the Jewish playbook—inviting Ben over for her mom’s famous brisket. From that moment on, their love story was set in motion.

Officially together since October 6, 2023, their bond has only grown stronger through shared Jewish values, adventures, sports, and family. Then, in a picture-perfect moment on a dock in Sorrento, Italy, on October 2, 2024, Ben got down on one knee, and Lisa said yes! Now, they can’t wait to celebrate their love and start this next beautiful chapter together.
