Burbank Airport is recommended
Much easier to fly in and out of, compared to LAX, and it's closer to the venues and listed hotels. Officially called the Bob Hope Hollywood Burbank Airport.
The Garland
Cute and funky hotel with a retro 70's vibe, (it's a converted HoJo, but don't worry they have luxurious beds). Offers a great bar and restaurant (The Front Yard). Nice pool (although they'll be plenty of families with kids as it's super near Universal Studios.). BTW the Garland Hotel is a 13 minute walk from the actual Brady Bunch house.

Elegant hotel in the heart of Hollywood.

Courtyard by Marriott, Sherman Oaks
The Courtyard located in Encino/Sherman Oaks area. Nice rooftop pool. Not as cool as the other hotel options, (it's in the Valley after all), although parking rates are much more reasonable.
W Hollywood
A hip hotel in the heart of Hollywood, with a rooftop pool, the W always delivers on the vibes. Recently renovated.... and it's now part of Marriott for all you Bonvoy Members.
