I guess it's true what they say, that the "invisible string" exists: A red thread of fate, tying two people together who are destined to meet, destined to be together, regardless of time, place or circumstance...

Lisa-Marie and Xavier's journey began in 2012 when they "met" on Facebook Messenger. Xavier reached out asking Lisa-Marie to add his pin to her BBM.

This was funny because they went to the same high school for years, and never exchanged words once.

After exchanging BBM contacts, they began to form a virtual friendship. They spoke every day, about everything. This treasured friendship came to a halt when Lisa-Marie vanished from BBM for about 4 months. When she resurfaced, Xavier decided that he had to get her phone number instead.

They would spend hours talking on the phone from 11pm to 6am.

Their friendship blossomed into something more on June 14, 2014. when Xavier asked Lisa-Marie to be his girlfriend because he was sure he could love her how she deserved to be loved. They didn't think about how they would get to see each other in person, but she gave him a chance because, beneath his tough, macho exterior, he has a heart of gold.

Despite all the challenges they have faced, they have only grown stronger together.

On December 17, 2023 Xavier proposed at a private family dinner that he secretly planned with Lisa-Marie's parents and his mom. SHE SAID YES, SO HERE WE ARE.....
