Though Lisa and Anthony both walked the same halls of Pasadena Memorial High School, fate had other plans for their first meeting. It wasn’t until 2016, in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, that their paths truly crossed. As Anthony was stepping out of a taxi and Lisa was about to get in, a simple moment turned into something unforgettable. They exchanged contact information, not knowing that this chance encounter would be the beginning of a beautiful love story. They kept in touch, their connection growing stronger with each conversation. In September 2017, they took a trip to Greece—a journey that would change everything. Amidst the stunning landscapes and ancient ruins, they made it official: they were in love. Lisa, who had been living in Dallas for the past four years, decided it was time to come home. She moved back to Pasadena and in with Anthony. Life wasn’t always easy —they faced their share of ups and downs—but through it all, they knew they were meant to be together. Their love was something worth working for. Eventually, they moved to Spring, TX, where they rented a home and began their “grown-up” life together, joined by their four beloved dogs: Riley, Ava, Bentley, and Leo. It was a time of learning, laughter, and growth as they built a life filled with love and companionship. After three wonderful years, they took the next big step—buying their first home together in Conroe, TX. It was a milestone that symbolized their commitment and the life they were building side by side. Their little family continued to grow—not just in love, but in numbers. They added more dogs, and even welcomed chickens and horses into their lives, embracing a more rural lifestyle and the joy that came with it. They continued to travel, make memories, and spend time with the people they loved most. But Lisa had one lingering question:&nbsp;When is he going to propose? In 2024, during a trip to visit Lisa’s family in Montana, Anthony had a plan. He suggested a hike in Glacier National Park. As they reached 7,000 feet in elevation, surrounded by breathtaking views, Anthony got down on one knee and asked the question Lisa had been waiting for. With tears in her eyes and joy in her heart, she said yes. And now, surrounded by family, friends, and the love they’ve nurtured over the years, Lisa and Anthony begin the next chapter of their incredible journey—together, forever.

Growing up, I never imagined how close we’d become. I was a bit of a turd back then (let’s be honest), and I didn’t fully understand the value of having an older sister like you. But now, I wouldn’t change a single thing about our journey—not the awkward phases, not the teasing, not even the curly hair and glasses you rocked while buried in books. You were the “weird sister” in the best way possible, and today I know you’re the best sister anyone could ever ask for.
I often think about Mom and the words she used to say: “One day I won’t be here, you have to be nice to each other.” Back then, I didn’t really get it. I thought it was just one of those things moms say. But now, those words mean everything. Her absence is deeply felt, especially during moments like this, but her wisdom lives on in us. She knew what she was doing—she was preparing us to lean on each other, to love each other fiercely, and to never take our bond for granted.
Geri, Mom would be so proud of us. She’d be proud of how much we’ve grown, how we’ve supported each other through every high and low, and how we’ve stayed close no matter what life threw our way. You’ve been my rock, my sounding board, my safe place, and my biggest cheerleader. I am so blessed to call you my sister, and even more blessed to have you standing beside me on one of the most important days of my life.

We’ve had our share of wild adventures — like those spontaneous concert trips to Austin, where we’d sleep in the car because we were too broke to afford a hotel. We didn’t care. Over the years, we’ve built a bond filled with laughter, deep conversations, and unforgettable memories. Whether we were hanging out at her parents’ house, grabbing drinks in Houston, or traveling together, Raven has always brought her signature energy and humor to every moment. There were so many wild, hilarious, and heartfelt times that I’ll cherish forever—and I know we’re just getting started.

What I’ve come to admire most about Raven is her strength and independence. She’s worked incredibly hard to build the life she has, and watching her grow into the powerhouse woman she is today has been inspiring.
