For nearly 30 years, Tammy has been a steadfast and consistent friend who has remained so despite life's trials and tribulations and miles of separation. In fact, these things helped cement her place as Matron of Honor. It was once Tammy and her husband Ron, a groomsman as well, moved to the Jacksonville area of Florida that the friendship matured into the current gift that it is. The two couples routinely make time and take turns visiting each other's homes. Tammy's infectious smile and happy tone are uplifting. Not one to let situations get her down, she leans on our Lord for guidance for herself and her family of 5. Tammy and Lisa have known each other for over 25yrs. Through that time, they have become the best of friends and Lisa couldn't imagine her day with Tammy by her side.

Jay first met Todd in 2014 and Todd quickly revealed himself to be a strong family man and a staunch defender of friendships. Light hearted and always open to having a great time, he is also a serious business man. Todd's love for Allie is always clearly evident. Todd has always recognized and commented about how Jay's love for Lisa is every bit as deep as his is for Allie. An avid fisherman who was born and raised in Naples, Florida. Jay has many quality friends but it was Todd's resonating spirit that lead to him being chosen as Jay's best man.

Cathleen started out as an "across the street" neighbor some 25 years ago. It should be obvious that Lisa's friends are kept for the long term! Cathleen and her husband recently celebrated their 30th anniversary! Cathleen has many talents but one particular gift is her singing voice. She is gracing us at the ceremony with a short piece a cappella. Lisa's friendship with Cathleen has spanned decades and started with their sharing the experience of being 1st-time Moms with playgroups. Cathleen and Lisa carried on the Christmastime tradition of cookie baking over tea for many years. Many precious moments were captured in those events and this event will be especially beautiful with Cathleen's presence as well as her powerful angelic voice.

Handsome husband to the Matron of Honor, and has been for 35 years. The Zarski's friendship began many years ago with the bride. However, since moving to Florida, an even deeper friendship has blossomed. Ron and Jay share many interests including camping, landscaping and outdoor sporting. Their friendship remains fresh because of a constant awareness to plan visits on a regular basis so that the miles don't become a burden to what has become a forever friendship. Ron was an instrumental part in Jay's plans to propose to Lisa back in August 2020. In fact, he was the photographer that captured the historic moment seen on our "The Knot" home page!

The role of the flower girl is an extra special one. It will be filled by the bride's eldest son's first child. Yes! The bride has a granddaughter. It is also the groom's bonus grandchild. She is such a blessing to us in unique ways. Born January 2021, she will be nearly 2 1/2 years old when she makes her way down the aisle to everyone's amusement.

To know Nate is to love Nate! Have you ever had that friend that just vibes with you and the laughs flow on their own? Jay and Nate have that kind of friendship. When our engagement was announced, Nate immediately offered his services to officiate our wedding. Unbeknownst to us, he had his ordination. There was zero hesitation because we could not imagine a more perfect person to fill that role. We insisted that he not be too serious because we want his personality to shine through. Make sure you introduce yourself to him. We've been blessed to call him a treasured friend for nearly a decade. Oh the stories we've amassed in those 10 years!
