- Select view offers (this will display the deposit and cancellation policy for the booking)

- Proceed with entering your details under the heading CONFIRM YOUR STAY
- For the section that has “ANYTHING ELSE WE SHOULD KNOW”, there is a REQUESTS box, this can accommodate flight information, bedding, floor preference, extended stay dates beyond November 16 etc.

Reservations are made one at a time, which means if you are reserving more than one room, then you will need to complete one before making the other.
The cut-off date for the receipt of reservations is September 14, 2025.
Two (2) night deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance due sixty (60) days prior to arrival.
With the room assignments, if there are any special requests such as first floor, second floor, room or facilities for the physically challenged, king bed, twin beds etc. Please let us have this information in order to arrange or advise accordingly.
We want to ensure that all special requests are known prior to arrival in order to make the best of the situation and provide utmost comfort to our guests.
At the end of the booking process, all rooms within all villas must be occupied with the same arrival and departure dates.
Guests with extended stays beyond group dates where all rooms are not occupied may be roomed in the main hotel at the same nightly rate and transferred to or from the villa on the main arrival or departure dates. Guests may choose to pay for any vacant/unused rooms to remain in a villa over pre and post-dates if this is their preference. We will guide you with room assignments after your contract cut-off date.
Arrival/departure flight information (airline name, number and time) must be provided for our records. Complete details will ensure a smooth transition to and from the airport.
Fly in to MBJ Airport (Sangster International Airport)
Airport transfer available: $25USD per person
This is also used to coordinate logistics on the hotel side.
If flight information is known when making the reservations, same can be inputted in the requests section. If not known then, this should be communicated to groupreservations@halfmoon.com at a later date (prior to arrival).

Travel Tips Before Flying To Jamaica
Before you touch down in the land of wood and water, here are a few must-know travel tips:
1. Entry Requirements
If you’re coming from the U.S., Canada, or the UK, you don’t need a visa to enter Jamaica for stays under 90 days. Just make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date and the same goes for African countries like Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and Zambia.
2. Complete the Online C5 Form
Before arriving in Jamaica, all travelers—including residents and visitors—must complete the online Passenger Declaration (C5) form. You can fill this out at enterjamaica.gov.jm. Don’t wait until the last minute—do this at least 24 hours before your flight.
3. Currency Tips
The official currency is the Jamaican Dollar (JMD), but U.S. dollars are widely accepted—especially in tourist areas like Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and Negril. However, you get more bang for your buck with Jamaican Dollars. Avoid exchanging at the airports and yes, ATMs are also widely available.
4. Cash or Card?
Well, it’s always good to carry small amounts of cash for small purchases and tipping. Most major hotels, restaurants, and shops accept cards (Visa and Mastercard are best), but cash is still king.
5. Airport Transfer
Round trip airport shuttle transfer from the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay will be provided by Half Moon's authorized ground handler, Jamaica Tours Limited. The transportation cost is $25.00 per person and is billed to your individual room accounts.
6. Getting Around
If you’re not renting a car, use official taxis with red license plates only as those are designated public passenger vehicles or arrange private transfers in advance with your hotel or tour company. Uber is also available.
7. Go Beyond the Resort
Yes, the resorts are beautiful—but please leave the property at least once! Go see Jamaica. Try authentic jerk chicken, explore local waterfalls, party on a catamaran, check out a dancehall street party! Jamaica is full of culture, history, flavor. Nuff vibes. Trust me! Tek it from a yaadie!

Respect the local culture. Us Jamaicans are warm and welcoming, and wi tek pride inna wi culture. So when you see us, be polite and say “Good morning” or “Good evening” or better yet, greet us wid a “Wah gwaan” and we’ll give you all the love.
