Every love story starts off the same.. well not this one. This one started off by Lisa looking at Rob.. puzzled and frustrated as to why someone would be singing country music out loud in a public gym. Lisa said to a friend “oh my god.. would that guy shut up”.. Lisa didn’t realize Rob had 20/20 vision and read her lips. Shortly after Lisa said what she said Rob approached Lisa and called Lisa out for what was said - and all of you lovely people know Lisa is brutally honest so she confirmed what she has said with a hint of attitude.. clearly what Lisa said was enough to pull Rob’s heart strings. Lisa and Rob went on a date one night after the gym to McDonalds - was the only thing open at the time and Rob was persistent they go out. They shared their first kiss in the parking lot. After that Lisa said some not so nice things to Rob and Rob thought it might be best to let Lisa mature some more and realize how amazing Rob is. Years had passed.. they had dated other people, moved new homes, had some ups and downs and then a pandemic hit.. During these years Lisa had always thought about Rob.. the gym on Upper James and the McDonalds they shared their kiss at.. Lisa got transferred to the LCBO on Upper James and though this is my chance to see if Rob still goes to the gym and talk to him. Unfortunately with the pandemic the gym had closed and Lisa couldn’t find Rob on social media because he had a silly handle. It’s like the invisible line was listening.. Lisa got a message from Rob via instagram asking to get together and go on a date. Lisa was SO nervous as she really liked Rob years ago and was so nervous to get together soooo she kept making excuses. Then one day Rob flipped the switch and called Lisa out for not getting together but going out and doing things. So Lisa agreed to get together and stop being a chicken. Rob and Lisa started dating in Covid. Lots of car dates, outdoor walks and really getting to know each other since it was hard to go out and do things as everything was closed. I believe this was the best thing that could have happened because it really helped them grow a deeper connection and get to know each other. Now let’s fast forward a couple years.. they have lived with eachother for a little over 2 years, done a bunch of traveling, made some amazing memories, gotten engaged and have a sweet fur baby named Dawkins. This is not your normal love story but there is so much love between them and they are excited to be getting married so please join us on our special day and be our guest 🤍
