What's the rain plan?

We will continue with the ceremony and reception as planned. Please have rain gear available in case of adverse weather. If you've rsvp'd to the bonfire/campout please keep an eye on your emails as we will send updated plans if needed.

Where to stay?

There are numerous Airbnbs and hotels throughout the Albany region. There is also a campground, Thompson’s Lake, a few minutes away where we will be spending Saturday night. Let us know if you’d like to join us by rsvp’ing for the after party and selecting “camping.” Sites are also available for Friday night. Reach out if you need camping gear, we may be able to hook you up!

Where to park?

There is a parking lot near our site. Just follow the arrows from the main entrance. The park requires parking passes, but don’t buy them! We will have some for you to grab at the ceremony location. Please be aware: the road to the pavilion is super bumpy! Please drive carefully.

What’s for lunch?

We will have a buffet style late lunch/early dinner with an assortment of local, seasonal dishes, mostly plant based, as well as BBQ chicken. Please let us know of any allergies or necessary accommodations in your RSVP.

Who can come?

Since space is limited, we unfortunately ask that only those folks on the invite rsvp. Worst of all, we ask that you leave your pups at home.

What gifts?

We are not currently accepting gifts (we have so much stuff!) but if you'd like, please contribute to our honeymoon or new home funds.

What to wear?

We ask that you wear dressy clothes, but most importantly that you dress for the weather! If it’s raining, bring an umbrella, if it’s hot and sunny, maybe a hat? The ceremony area is grassy and stilettos are strongly discouraged.

Things to do?

There is SO MUCH you can do in Thacher Park. See the Thacher Park tab on the main page for more info.
