Lisa and Josh met one night while out in Manayunk, PA. Their first date was at Chloe's Corner to get ice cream. During the date, Lisa requested pumpkin ice cream to which Josh replied, "That's disgusting. Pick something better!" Lisa ended up sadly disappointed with chocolate marshmallow ice cream. Lisa then proceeded to scrutinize most of the things Josh loved, such as Philadelphia as a whole, The Eagles, The Phillies, the Phanatic, Wawa, etc. It was an instant connection!

After that, Lisa and Josh spent most days together where they found out they actually had much more in common than what it seemed on that first date. Josh spent many days attempting to win over Lisa's adorable rescue dog (Lily) by coaxing her out from under the bed with Dunkin' Donut munchkins. Once Lily approved, so did Lisa. Over the next few years, Lisa and Josh took trips to the Poconos, Florida, Pittsburgh, Bahamas, Syracuse, the Jersey shore, and Disney (Lisa's favorite). They also attended many country concerts, sporting events, amusement parks, holiday festivities, and spent time with each other's families. On every anniversary since that first ice cream date, Josh has surprised Lisa with pumpkin ice cream to make up for that initial response.

On December 17, 2022, Josh took Lisa to The Chocolatier restaurant in Hershey Park for dinner. Upon returning back to their apartment, Lisa walked into a beautifully decorated space that had lit candles, rose petals in the form of a heart on the floor, balloons, and a big sign that said "It's a love story, baby just say yes". Josh then proposed to Lisa and she, of course, said yes! They have been happily planning a wedding at their favorite place to be...the beach! They cannot wait to celebrate with family and close friends in September 2024!
