Q + A

What time should I arrive?

Our ceremony will begin at 11:00am, so we suggest that you arrive no later than 10:45pm to ensure that you get parked and find a seat in time for the start of the ceremony.

What should I wear?

Dressy casual with a Colorado twist. We'll be celebrating outdoor in the sunshine and at a beautiful barn. Think comfortable, festive, and wedding-ready. Please keep in mind our ceremony will be on natural terrain, so we recommend shoes suited for walking on grass or gravel. The ceremony will have seating but no shade is provided so be careful with the Colorado sun, i.e. sunscreen, long sleeves, or hats.

What will parking look like?

There is a parking lot next to the ceremony site. We will save a few spots for anyone with mobility issues close to the entrance. For others, we recommend parking as soon as you enter to enjoy a short scenic walk through the trees. At the barn, parking will be in the grass on the right as you pull behind the house with parking directly in front of the barn for those with mobility issues. Both sites are wheelchair accessible.

What will happen between the ceremony and the reception?

The drive to the barn is about a 10-15 minutes. Once at the barn, there will be outdoor games, a caricature artist, a photo booth, snacks, and drinks including a bar.

May we post pictures on social media?

We ask that you not share photos of the bride and groom on social media. We would love for you to share them with us and one another, though.

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

We are asking for an unplugged ceremony. We have hired professionals to capture the moment and want to ensure they are able to get the best photos possible with no phones visible. If you would like some copies of our photos, we are happy share and will provide a site for you to access them.

What is the wet weather option?

We have a backup location that will be indoors next to the same parking lot for the ceremony. The reception will also be indoors in the barn.

Do you have a registry?

No, we haven't created a registry. The most important thing for us is your presence and sharing in the joy of this special day.
