It was kismet. Living just a block away from each other for years, Lissette and Henry finally met through the magic of a Bumble swipe in the Spring of 2019.

They quickly learned about other coincidences: fathers who worked in the same building and brothers with the same name. Lissette even went to high school with one of Henry's cousins! They embraced it and soon enough were traveling the world, picking up new hobbies, like hiking and cooking, and embracing life's many curveballs.

On October 7, 2022, Henry asked Lissette to be his forever while standing at a pier at Chelsea Piers. Lissette, of course, said yes and they sailed around the sunset-lit Manhattan—champagne in hand—in celebration.
