Getting Here
FLYING IN
Fly into SFO airport, and take Bart or Uber/Lyft into the city.
We do not recommend renting a car unless you plan on traveling outside the city, as parking fees in SF can add up.
PARKING
If you are driving to the Palace hotel, use the Hearst Parking Center behind the hotel, or any garage nearby. DO NOT park at the hotel (unless you're willing to pay the valet $60/day). We will shuttle all guests to and from the hotel to city hall.
GETTING AROUND
Taxi: Download Waymo and try their self-driving cars! In our experience, the cars drive better than most human taxi drivers. Note: Waymo only operates within the city of San Francisco.
Public Transport:
Abundant options - Bart, Muni train, trolleys, electric scooters, you name it.
You can walk to your nearest Bart station to purchase a Clipper card or 1 day fare.
Exploring the rest of the Bay Area?
The CalTrain runs from SF all the way down to our home in San Jose and stops at every major Silicon Valley town - Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, etc.
The new electric trains are only a year old, though a bit slower than renting a car and driving yourself around.

We highly recommend staying with us at the Palace Hotel, where our reception will be held. If it's within your budget, you can stay the night before the wedding ceremony, or check-in after the lunch reception, or stay both nights - up to you!
