Fontana Village Resort
Thank you for taking time and energy to celebrate with us. We are so excited to spend time with everyone on our special day. We are even more excited to share this moment with you in such a beautiful location!! We hope you'll love the Fontana Dam Village as much as we do.
Bookings Rooms:
There are two ways to book a room:
1. Online: Click the link here or at the bottom of this page and follow the instructions to book your room. Please note, the discounted group rate online is ONLY for Friday and Saturday nights. If you want to stay longer you can call and ask for the discounted rate to be applied to your entire stay.
2. Call Tabitha: Tabitha is our wonderful wedding coordinator and possiblty the politelest person you'll ever meet. You can call her (828.498.2211) and she will help you book a room!
Room Types:
We blocked a number of different types of rooms at the Fontana Village ranging from $150 - $400 per night.
Lodge Rooms: These are hotel rooms ( 1 king bed or 2 queen beds) located in the main lodge. The entire lodge was renovated in 2024 and the rooms are gorgeous. The group rate is between $150 - $250.
Cabins: There are 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedrooms cabins around the property that include a kitchen and front porch. These cabins are also being renovated in 2024 and they look amazing. They are a great option if you are looking to lower the cost by staying with another guest! The group rate is between $180 - $400.
Flights
We know Fontana Village is not the easiest place to get to and we cannot thank you enough for willing to be with us on our special day.
For those flying in from out of town (*cough* everyone *cough*), there are a few airport options we recommend.
1. Atlanta: ATL is the biggest airport and we hope has a direct flight to all of your starting locations! The drive from Atlanta to Fontana Village is about 3 hours and 30 minutes. The drive will be mostly interstate until the very end once you get into the mountains.
2. Charlotte: CLT is another large airport option, that should have direct flights for most of you. The drive is 3 hours and 45 minutes to Fontana Village. This drive will be mostly interstate until the very end.
2. Asheville: AVL is about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Fontana Village. The drive will be mostly interstate for the first hour. The last 45 minutes are very scenic with twists and turns through the mountains.
3. Knoxville: TYS is about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Fontana Village. Please note, this drive is through the Appalachian Mountains and passes through the tail of the dragon (over 300 sharp turns in an 11 mile stretch)!! We do not recommend this option if you are driving through the night as it is very challenging. We have been told it's a beautiful drive during the day.
