Liz and Chris first crossed paths in April 2023 at Tavern in the Square in Woburn. Liz was enjoying brunch with friends and ended up chatting with Chris, who was working behind the bar. They didn't realize it then, but that chance encounter would soon turn into something special.

Two months later, in June, fate intervened again. They both happened to be on a dating app and Chris sent Liz the first message. As soon as they started chatting, Liz realized she'd met him before-the friendly, cute bartender from Tavern in the Square!

Their first official date was on June 14th, 2023 when they spent an afternoon walking around Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield with Chris's dog, Vee. It was a perfect first date and filled with laughter and great conversation.

Exactly one year later, Chris took Liz back to that special spot at the lake. As rain broke, Chris got down on one knee and asked Liz to marry him. Of course, she said yes!!

We are so excited to celebrate our love with our family and friends in October and begin our journey as husband and wife!
