Christmas Eve Eve sleepover! It was hard this year with a new puppy, but we're planning on doing it every year moving forward.

Oh, man, there are so many! Um..the one that comes to mind right now is seeing her light up when we went to NYC. She's a little tour guide when we're out there and I love it!

That we've done couple's therapy! When you're combining two lives, there can be some challenges making sure you're showing up as your best self, so having someone to help us love eachother better was such a gift and showed that we were willing to put in the work to show up for one another.

The day we met parents! She was supposed to meet mine and we ended up randomly running into her mom and dad at a gas station. They were, and are, the sweetest people and I absolutely love them. Then I got to go to work with her for the day before grabbing dinner with Hannah and Jyne. That was the first day Liz told me she was going to marry me.

Skiing! It is my favorite thing to do with Daphne; I love chatting with her on the lift, laughing together on the drive, putting my arm around her to warm her up, and watching her pizza-slice her way down the mountain.

This feels wrong because OBVIOUSLY I cherish our engagement in NYC forever, but Tahoe was my favorite. I loved that quality time with you--from the drive to jumping in the freezing water to the cute book stores. You make my world so bright and lovely and that trip captures that feeling so well.

I'm really excited to see where we move for law school, where we buy our next house and settle, and to build our family and have kids together. Overall, I'm most excited to grow old with you--and to get my cabin...which will be our cabin...for us.

Okay, so we're so different from one another? We work so well and have the same values, goals, and priorities, but we are SO different, and having that different perspective has been such a blessing. I love how much we balance supporting and motivating each other to push toward big things while being so sweet, gentle, and loving. Since meeting you, I feel like a kinder, more introspective, more adventurous, and more open person. I genuinely feel like every day with you is such a gift. And also the dogs; of course, the dogs.
