Is this a full mass?
No, although our ceremony will take place in a Catholic church, this will not be a full Catholic mass. The ceremony will be about 30 minutes long.
What do I wear?
The dress code is formal, so suits and cocktail dresses or evening gowns are a great place to start! Just please don't wear white! 😉
Can I leave my car overnight if I've been drinking?
We encourage everyone to drink responsibly during our wedding. Guests are welcome to leave their cars onsite at Birch Wood Vineyards overnight if needed.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We have hired a fantastic photographer and videographer to capture our day! Please enjoy the ceremony without using your phone or camera. You're welcome to take as many photos as you would like during the cocktail hour and reception and we would be happy to jump into a selfie with you then too!
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Our ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm. Please arrive by 5:15pm to find your seats and get settled.
What time will cocktail hour start?
Cocktail hour will start at 6:30pm, so you can go straight to the reception venue after the ceremony ends.
Will any part of the wedding day take place outdoors?
No. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held indoors. Weather permitting, guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor scenery at Birch Wood Vineyards throughout the evening.
Will there be food?
Yes! Cocktail hour will feature both passed and stationary hors d'oeuvres, followed by a plated dinner and dessert during the reception. We will also have a late night snack to refuel at the end of the night!
Will there be an open bar?
There will be an open bar during the cocktail hour. At the end of cocktail hour when the main reception begins, the bar will transition to a cash bar. (Cash and card both accepted.) There are three restrictions to the bar set by the venue: no shots, vodka redbulls, or Long Island ice teas will be served.
I have dietary restrictions, what's the best way to let you know?
You can fill in any dietary needs in the rsvp section of our website or written on your mailed rsvp card. Feel free to reach out to us with any further questions or concerns about your dietary needs.
When is the rsvp deadline?
Please submit all rsvps by March 20, 2024.
Can I bring my gift to the wedding?
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

When will the reception end?
Our wedding reception will conclude at 11:30pm. The bar will close at 11pm for last call.
Are there any Covid restrictions?
No, please use your best judgment and do what feels most comfortable to you. We welcome anyone to wear a mask throughout any and all portions of the wedding day if you feel more comfortable doing so. If you test positive for Covid within 5 days of the wedding, please stay home to avoid spreading the virus to the more vulnerable guests who will be in attendance at our wedding.
