What time should we arrive for the nuptial mass/ceremony?
The wedding mass will begin promptly at 3pm. We recommend getting to the church at least 30 minutes beforehand to park and find a seat.
How far is the reception venue from the church?
The reception venue is about 30 minutes from the Cathedral and downtown Nashville! During Friday afternoon rush hour traffic, however, it will likely take a little longer getting to the reception venue. We recommend giving yourselves 40-45 minutes to get from Cathedral to Fiddle Dee Farms.
Where can we park?
Cathedral of the Incarnation has a parking lot right behind the building, as well as a small lot with handicap spots (where the blue star is in the picture below) on the side of the building. A free overflow lot is right across the street from the main parking lot, off 20th Ave South and Terrace Place. See the picture below for help!
Where can we go to mass on Sunday?
Nashville has so many awesome Catholic churches! St. Edward's (where John proposed to Liz, and his parish growing up), St. Ann's, and Holy Rosary are great options. For traditional Catholics, the Church of the Assumption has a traditional Latin mass and St. Mary's has a Novus Ordo mass with lots of Latin celebrated ad orientem.
