Guests should contact the hotel to secure overnight accommodations by calling 1-609-494-1123 "Hough - Mulvihill" group rates. All reservations must be made on or before the Cut Off date of 05/04/2022. Reservation requests received after the Cut Off date will be subject to space and rate

Drifting Sands Oceanfront Hotel

We have arranged for a block of 10 rooms for June 17 and 20 rooms at Hotel LBI for June 18. Our guests can make reservations at www.HOTELLBI.com using the group attendee code 1023CT. When going to the website click on Book Now, input the dates of stay requested then click on the drop-down arrow where it saysdiscount code. Choose Group Attendee Code and input your assigned group code. The group code will not work under discount code.

The Holiday Inn Mainland is located about 10-15 minutes from the wedding reception. We have a arranged for a block of rooms here to accommodate our guests. And we will be making arrangements for transportation to and from the reception for guests staying here. The group code for online reservations is HMW. This block will be available until April 17, 2022. Hotel check-in time is 3pm.

Holiday Inn Manahawkin/Long Beach Island

Surf City Hotel is located a short drive from the ceremony &amp; reception venue. We do not have a block here, but guests can make a reservation and indicate over the phone when booking, that they are attending the "Hough - Mulvihill wedding." This will help us to plan transportation to and from the wedding.

Vacation Rental by Owner is an excellent place to find rental homes should you choose to stay a little longer or with a larger group on LBI.

Getting to Long Beach Island

The BusThere is bus service (<a href="https://www.lbibus.com/index" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.lbibus.com/index</a>) directly from NYC and Philadelphia making stops in Manahawkin (at the Mainland Holiday Inn) and other stops on Long Beach Island.This bus also makes a stop at the Newark or Philadelphia airport if you’re meeting friends or need to catch a plane home! Make sure to purchase tickets for the bus ahead of time. AirportsThe closest airport to Long Beach Island is Atlantic City (ACY), which is roughly 45 minutes south. Newark International (EWR, 87.3 miles, approximately 1 hour, 20 minutes) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL, 68.7 miles, approximately 1hour, 30 minutes).

Visit one of LBI's Beautiful Beaches

You can visit any of LBI's beaches. Grab a beach chair and chill for a few hours or the day! You will need a daily beach pass, but can usually purchase them at the entrance to the beach. Don't worry, if you don't see someone selling them, they will find you (and if they don't then it's a lucky day!).

Barnegat Lighthouse State Park, Barnegat Light

Barnegat Lighthouse State Park is located at the northern tip of LBI. The lighthouse is commonly referred to as Ol'Barney and has been an island icon for over a hundred years. Visit the park's museum,, walk the jetty, stick your toes in the tide pools, hike the (short) nature trail, or if you are feeling up to it, climb up to the top of Ol' Barney for an amazing view!

Viking Village, Barnegat Light

A visit to Viking Village in Barnegat Light will take you back in time. Located on the northern tip of the island, there are a bunch of cute shops and with a little something for everyone.

Bay Village, Beach Haven

Bay Village lies in the heart of the downtown strip in Beach Haven. Here you will find a e-created a 19th century waterfront village with fun shopping, browsing, coffee, mini golf, eating and relishing in all things that are quintessential summertime activities (like fudge and clam chowder!).
