Our Wedding

Although we went to the same high school, we did not start our relationship until years after we had both graduated high school.&nbsp; We actually never really talked much during our time at Santana High School but had mutual friends so we attended many of the same friend gatherings.&nbsp; It wasn't until&nbsp;one party at the Gonzalez's house, that we actually made a connection and began our 12 year relationship.&nbsp;&nbsp;

How we met

We were inseparable from the beginning and grew our relationship through many fun and challenging&nbsp;times.&nbsp; From concerts to camping, we were up for any adventure as long as we were doing it together.&nbsp; We went through career changes and education goals that tested our relationship but we always found a way to support one another and work through life.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The Beginning 

After dating for a couple years, we decided it was time to add a family member&nbsp;and we adopted Stella.&nbsp; Stella is the sweetest dog and loves everyone.&nbsp; We could not imagine our lives without her.&nbsp; She is the perfect adventure companion and is down for anything we bring her along for!&nbsp;&nbsp;

In 2011&nbsp;we moved to the Bay Area forcing us to experience many different adventures that made our love stronger for one another.&nbsp; We were both able to achieve and surpass our goals for moving to the Bay Area with the love and support from our family and friends!&nbsp; After three years&nbsp;and many moves later, we knew there was a piece missing from our lives and that was San Diego!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

The Move

Many trips later, August 2017,&nbsp;Matt finally decided to propose.&nbsp; He caught me&nbsp;off guard while&nbsp;in Colorado to attend a&nbsp;concert at Red Rocks.&nbsp; I was not expecting a proposal because our trip was centered around this concert.&nbsp; We went on an amazing hike and when we reached the top we stopped for snacks that Matt had packed (he knows me well).&nbsp; When he reached into his backpack again I asked him what else he had in there... I asked "What else do you have in there? Chocolate?!" Nope better than chocolate; a RING!!&nbsp; Matt with the little words he could get out FINALLY&nbsp;asked me to marry him!!&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;
