Breweries & Wineries

Picture of Breweries & Wineries

Ian and Liz are craft beer fans and know lots of our guests are as well. The Seattle area offers and abundance of craft breweries and wineries. Some of our favorites:

NW Peaks (Ian's all-time favorite. Look for it at the reception!), Ballard

Reuben's Brews, Ballard

Stoup, Ballard

Hilliards, Ballard

Peddler, Ballard

(There are several more in Ballard, add them to a self directed walking brewery tour!)

Fremont Brewing, Fremont

Elysian, Greenlake-Capital Hill-SODO

Naked City, Greenwood

Chuck's Hop Shop on 85th (great bottle shop with ~40+ local beers on tap), Greenwood

Bellevue Brewing, Bellevue

Pike Place Brewing, downtown Seattle

Georgetown Brewing, Georgetown

American, Edmonds

Lazy Boy, Everett

Sound to Summit, Snohomish

Twin Rivers, Monroe

For wine, all you need to do is get to Woodinville. There are too many small, excellent wineries to count, many of them within walking distance of each other. Columbia Winery, Chateau St. Michelle Winery, and Redhook Brewery (all with national distribution) are also in Woodinville.

Food and Dining

Picture of Food and Dining

There are too many great restaurants in the area to list them all out. Feel free to contact Liz or Ian for a recommendation.

Some food to try:

Seafood - Salmon (especially smoked), dungeness and king crab, razor clams, oysters, geoduck for the adventurous

Asian cuisine - There's a large asian influence in the PNW and all the asian food is wonderful. Especially check out sushi, thai, and vietnamese.
