IS A PASSPORT REQUIRED?
Yes, a passport is required to attend our wedding. If you do not have one, it is estimated that the time to complete the process can take up to 3 months. Passport applications should be started no later than November 2025.
IS FLIGHT INCLUDED?
Since all of our guests are coming from different areas, flights will be required to be booked individually after confirming your travel dates. Each guest is required to book their own flight to and from Mexico.
WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY TO?
Due to the proximity of the resort, it would be best to fly into Cancun International Airport.
IS THERE ANY AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION?
If you’re flying into CUN (Cancún International Airport), the cost is $55.00 per person. Flight information must be submitted by January 5, 2026. To help coordinate shared transfers and potentially split the cost, please message us with your flight details. If others are arriving at the same time, we’ll do our best to group you together.
HOW FAR IS THE RESORT FROM CANCUN'S AIRPORT?
The resort is approximately 9 miles from the Cancun International Airport. This is estimated to be about a 17 minute drive for guests.
WHEN AM I REQUIRED TO BOOK MY STAY BY?
All guests must book their stay before October 22, 2025. A $100 deposit is required at the time of booking to hold the room.
IS THIS A FAMILY-FRIENDLY RESORT?
Hyatt Vivid Grand Island is an adults-only resort.
How long should I stay?
The room blocking offers plenty of options, but the resort requires 3 nights minimum stay. The wedding itself is on Thursday February 19th, so we would recommend arriving by at least Wednesday to settle in. We also suggest staying until at least Saturday so you can have a nice relaxing recovery day Friday. We will be staying likely Monday - Saturday and would love to have time to spend with you!
WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?
Weather in Cancun in late February is typically warm and pleasant with lots of sunshine and little rain. You can expect temperatures in the low to mid 80s.
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
Unless specified on your invitation, a plus one will not be permitted. We do not have the capacity within our room block at the resort to accommodate additional guests who were not included in the original headcount. Please contact Liz if you have any questions regarding who is included on your invite. We want to be surrounded by our closest friends and family on our wedding day. We hope you can understand!
WHAT IF I HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies so we can accommodate you during the event.
