It was a random Wednesday night a month into quarantine when Lizet decided to download Bumble. Within the hour she matched with a boy named Andrew with the caption that read, "it won't matter what heels you wear, I'll still be taller." This of course caught her attention, Andrew `was drawn in by her catchy pick up line, "what's cookin', good lookin'?"

In 3 short weeks, Lizet and Andrew get to know each other and there's an instant connection, they make it official May 5th, 2020. Within the first year of dating they went on lots of hikes, picnics and anything they could due to Covid. They met each other's families and moved Andrew into his college house.

In the second year of dating Andrew and Lizet had their first official vacation, Fort Myers Beach! That year for Thanksgiving, Andrew traveled to Atlanta, Georgia with Lizet's family. There was many trips made by Lizet to visit Andrew at school at UW Plattville, a 2.5 hour drive that was made every other weekend. During this time, Lizet was also a full time student completing pre requisites for dental hygiene school.

Three years into dating, Andrew graduates UW Platteville!! He moves back home and after 2 years of long distance and lots of miles added to their cars, they finally live 25 minutes away from each other. During this year, Andrew joins the Loves Park Police department and completes the police academy. While he's focused on that, Lizet get's accepted into dental hygiene school and starts the program! This is the year Lizet got to spend Thanksgiving with the Wagner's in Ohio.

This was a busy year for both, Lizet and Andrew. Lizet was deep into hygiene school and Andrew stayed busy with his new job as a Police Officer. They found time to do fun things like go to Six Flags, visit Andrew's buddies from school and going on dates on days off. With each other's support they got through the toughest times together and pushed through.

A week after celebrating their 4 years, Andrew proposes!! They got engaged at Rock Cut State Park, the same place where he asked her to be his girlfriend 4 years prior.

2024 was a big year for Lizet and Andrew. Lizet graduated dental hygiene school!! Andrew's endless support through this was unbelievable and made it all worth it. He was her biggest supporter, he'd come in at 8:30am to be her patient after a 12 hour night shift. He showed up for her when her patient's would cancel last minute and made sure she was always fed and happy during stressful says.

Trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee!! As things started to wind down, Lizet and Andrew take a trip with her family for a week.

A week after their Tennessee trip, Lizet and Andrew buy a house!! Their new home and wedding planning leads us to present day. They are busy planning and can't wait to celebrate with you!
