Lizzie and Graham met through their mutual friends Meagan and Sam. When Lizzie moved to Milwaukee, where Graham was currently living, she reached out to him to make a connection. They started spending time together in the city and shortly after the New Year they became "official".

After newly being in a relationship, they had to deal with making their relationship work during a pandemic. It was make it or break it. Lizzie & Graham looked to each other for emotional support during this uncertain time. Their relationship thrived throughout Covid. They were able to still do their favorite activities like cooking/baking, playing games, going on hikes, being outdoors and going to the cabin. It brought them closer together.

Fast forward 6 months...Lizzie was still working at home and decided that she needed a bit more excitement in their lives. Lizzie started applying to dog adoption places. Once they got a picture of a cute little rescue pup with floppy ears named Jalapeno they just couldn't say no. They adopted now Maple on 9/11/2020. Their lives would never be the same for better or worse.

Lizzie & Graham decided that since they were spending so much time together that it only made sense for them to move in with each other. They moved in together but their small 750 foot apartment was feeling even smaller with Graham's extra stuff and the new pup. They decided they needed a true home. This started the conversation of getting married.

Once they started seriously looking for a house, Lizzie moved quick in arranging engagement plans. Lizzie & Graham decided to go the unconventional way and propose to each other and have also decided to both wear rings during their engagement period. They strongly embrace equality of men and women and express that in their relationship.

Lizzie & Graham are excited to make their commitment "official" in a few short months and continue to enjoy life together!
