OUR STORYSebastian and Lizzie first met as teenagers, when he was 15 and she was 16. From the start there was a spark, though it took Sebastian a second try before Lizzie said yes. Over the years they grew up together, sharing milestones, adventures, and even buying and converting a school bus into their first home. Life in the bus also brought them two sweet kittens who quickly became part of their family. Sebastian is a true jack-of-all-trades, always balancing school, work, spearfishing, and his many projects/hobbies. Lizzie has always had a lifelong passion for dance, which she now shares through teaching and performing. Together, they’ve built a rhythm of supporting each other’s dreams and celebrating life side by side. After six years together, Sebastian finally popped the question on March 5, 2024, during a trip to Breckenridge, Colorado, Lizzie, of course, said yes… Now, seven years later, they can’t wait to keep growing up together and begin their next chapter as husband and wife.

Our Story

If you had told us years ago that we’d end up as best friends, we probably would’ve looked at you like you were crazy. When we first met, we didn’t immediately click, but somehow, over time, we went from strangers to inseparable. Through late-night talks, endless laughter, and more than a few questionable decisions… Emily became my ride-or-die, my soul sister, and now, my Maid of Honor.

But our bond goes so much deeper than just friendship. From the very beginning, Emily and her family welcomed me and Sebastian with open arms. Her parents treated us like their own, showing us kindness, love, and support in ways we’ll never be able to thank them enough for. We didn’t just gain a best friend—we gained a family, and that means more to us than words can say.

Sebastian and Emily are like brother and sister—always bickering, always joking, and always pretending they don’t like each other (even though we all know they do).  I know he’ll always agree that Emily is the best friend I’ve ever had… though, of course, he might try to claim that title for himself.

She has been by my side through every step of this journey—through the highs, the lows, and everything in between. And now, on one of the biggest days of my life, there’s no one else I’d trust more to stand beside me, keep me calm, and make sure I don’t trip walking down the aisle. Emily, you are family, and I love you beyond words.

Emily Carbocci

I’ll never forget when my brother, Nathan, first told me about this amazing girl named Johnna. He showed me her Instagram, and right away I knew two things: she was perfect for him, and she was going to be the perfect sister-in-law for me. From my teenage years to now, she’s been part of so many of my favorite memories, and over the years she’s become more than family she’s a blessing God knew I needed.

One of the most meaningful moments we’ve shared was on the day Sebastian proposed. Johnna walked with me down the snowy trail in Colorado, she stopped and prayed over me, and stood by me through every step of that moment. I don’t think she knows how special and memorable that was for me... the fact that I was able to share that with her felt unreal. I've always looked up to her from the beginning she has a way of life, and I admire how she chooses to live it. She is the kindest person on this planet with the biggest heart, and my brother is incredibly lucky to have her as his wife. I’ll always thank God that He chose her to be part of our family. Proverbs 17:17 says, “A friend loves at all times, and a sister is born for adversity.” To me, Johnna is both—a sister and a friend who has shown me love, encouragement, and faith through every season.

Now, as my Matron of Honor (hehe), she’ll be right there once again, making sure everything goes smoothly and supporting me like she always has. I couldn’t be more grateful to have her by my side on my wedding day, and I know she’ll make this chapter just as memorable as all the ones before.

Johnna Taylor 

Bella is the definition of a lifelong friend—the kind of person you want to keep in your life forever. She’s actually the longest friend I have; we have pictures together from when we were just four or five years old. Even though life threw plenty of obstacles our way, we’ve always found our way back to each other, and now she’s one of my best friends in ways I can’t even describe.

She’s the kind of friend I can tell anything to—the definition of “we listen and don’t judge” …if she likes you. If not? Well, she’s definitely judging. She’s real, honest, and always speaks her mind, which is one of the things I love most about her. On top of that, she’s an amazing mother to two beautiful boys, and getting to watch her raise them has been such a full-circle moment.

From being kids playing together to now watching her have babies of her own, our friendship is something truly special to me. I’m so lucky to have her as a bridesmaid while she’s out here being a boss lady and an incredible mom. 

Bella Mccants 

Our friendship is different from most. In our younger years, we were best friends but outside voices and high school drama pulled us apart, and it felt like losing a piece of myself. When life brought us back together, we were able to move past it all and build an even stronger bond. That second chance is something I’ll always be grateful for.

One of my favorite memories is when Sam and Emily made it possible for Sebastian and I to go to prom together during Covid. His school canceled, but theirs's still held one. Sam invited me as her “date,” and Sebastian went with Emily so we could all be there. I’ll never forget it—not only because I had Sam as my prom date... hehe, but also because it gave me the high school memory I never had with the most special people.

Sam isn’t just a friend; she is family and a best friend. Sam is a friend I would hope everyone finds in this lifetime, she is so caring and would do anything for the people she loves... she's the person I could tell anything to; Sam is the girl we all need in our lives and I guess I'm the luckiest person to have her. Most of all Her parents and siblings have always welcomed Sebastian and I with open arms, and we are forever thankful for the Hoffmans. I love Sam and I'm so excited to have her by my side to celebrate this next chapter.

Sam Hoffman

From the moment I met Alli, I just knew—we were going to be great friends. We introduced ourselves, we clicked instantly, and never stopped hanging out. She’s my artistic bestie, my go-to for anything creative, and somehow has the most organized yet chaotic brain I’ve ever seen. It makes no sense, but neither does our friendship, and yet, it works perfectly.

Alli is the kind of friend who loves deeply and shows it in the best ways. If I’m sick, she’s at my door—opening windows, tidying up, handing me organic remedies, and making sure I have soup. She’s the friend who takes care of you, who mothers you in the sweetest way, and who makes sure you’re always okay.

She’s been there through all the highs and lows—from my happiest tears to my most dramatic meltdowns (which she always handles like a champ). Whether I need someone to talk me down or just sit and laugh at life with me, she’s that person. And on my wedding day, I couldn’t imagine anyone better to keep me calm, make me laugh, and, let’s be honest, probably fix my hair at least once.


Allison Bunchuck 

Kandice is one of those rare friends that truly feels like family. From the moment we became friends, there was an unspoken connection that has only grown stronger over time. Even though life has kept us miles apart, we’ve always found a way to stay close, whether through long phone calls or spontaneous hangouts. She’s someone I can always count on to understand me, no questions asked.

Watching her grow into the amazing mother she is today has been such an inspiration. Her strength, love, and dedication to her daughter are something I admire deeply.

Having Kandice by my side on this special day means more to me than words can express. She is my true friend, my confidante, and one of my best friends. I know that whatever happens, we’ll always have each other, and I am so incredibly thankful for her presence in my life. I couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without her standing by me.

Kandice Goltzene 

Salt & Pepper—that’s us. A lot of people look at Stephanie and I and see total opposites That’s why Steph is literally saved in my contacts as “Pepper.” On the outside, we might seem like total opposites, but the truth is, we’re the same girl in different fonts. We wear the same things yet different, we think the same way—just in completely opposite ways (if that makes any sense, which it probably doesn’t, but that’s just how we are).

Stephanie is exactly the kind of friend every girl needs. She’s the most spontaneous person I know—she’ll pack a bag an hour before a flight and take off for a week without even knowing the destination. She’s the one who will hop in the car with me at 3 a.m. for a Wawa run just because. She’s my arts and crafts bestie, my beach buddy, and my partner in crime for all things fun and impulsive.

And let’s be real—on the wedding day, I know she’s going to be my Cuban baddie hype woman, gassing me up like no other on that dance floor. 

Steph Betancourt

Oh Hailey… she’s the friend I call when I need to cry it out, and she’s always there to let me vent and figure out how to handle me (no easy feat, I know). She’s always down for a good time and up for trying anything new with me—even if it’s a little silly. She’s the friend who will always show up for me, no matter what, and I’ll always show up for her.

We definitely butt heads sometimes (we’re both a little hard-headed), At the end of the day, there’s no one else I’d rather argue with and then immediately laugh with five minutes later.—like the fact that she refuses to share her food, but I always share mine. But that’s just part of who we are, we’re like sisters. Whether we’re laughing until we cry, debating over nonsense, or sitting down for Bible study together, she’s someone who truly adds so much to my life. I’m so lucky to have her by my side on this big day. 

Hailey Quinn 

I’ve known Morgan as long as I’ve known Sebastian,  our memories go way back. From the wild nights out to the most low-key hangs, every single time I’m with her, it’s always a good time.

Morgan is the friend to call when I need some girl time, whether it’s shopping, a concert, or a spontaneous bougie getaway. She’s always up for an adventure, and when it’s time for some serious girl talk, she’s my go-to. No matter what we’re doing, she makes it ten times more fun—and memorable.

She’s my hype woman for life—always ready to keep it real and have my back no matter what. She’s brutally honest in the best way, never afraid to speak her mind. But that’s what makes her such a great friend—she’s always in my corner, cheering me on. (whether it’s on Insta or texting me supporting me in my dance journey) My heart is full for my Morgan, and I’m so lucky to have her by my side on this day and for life

Morgan Matula 

JP and I have had the privilege of growing closer over the years, and I couldn’t be more thankful to have him standing by my side. From the very beginning, we clicked over our shared love of adventure, and those memories have only multiplied since. Whether we’re out on a boat ride, fishing along the coast, or diving into the vibrant waters of the Keys, JP has been my go-to buddy for making the most of every moment. We’re always talking about discovering new spots, seeking out the best fishing locations, and planning our next underwater explorations. Some of my best memories are tied to those adventures, and I’m excited for the countless more that are yet to come.

What I admire most about JP is his unwavering loyalty and dependable nature. No matter how hectic life gets, he’s always someone I can count on. Whether it’s helping out with a project, giving advice, or simply being there when I need a friend, JP has consistently shown up in ways that make me proud to call him not just a friend, but family. He has an easygoing demeanor that makes every moment more relaxed and enjoyable, and I appreciate how he brings that energy to everything we do.

It’s also been great to see JP and Bella, Lizzie’s longest friend, come together as a couple. The four of us have had plenty of fun on double dates, and it’s a special feeling knowing that Lizzie and I are surrounded by such a great pair of lifelong friends.

I’m beyond grateful to have JP as part of our big day, not only as a groomsman but as someone who has been a significant part of my life

Nathan isn’t just my future brother-in-law — he’s also my boss and someone I’ve learned a lot from over the years. Working together at SIS has built a strong bond between us. From tackling projects to navigating the ins and outs of water filtration, he’s taught me invaluable skills that have helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Beyond work, Nathan’s mentorship has made a real difference in my life. Whether it was helping me build my credit or offering solid life advice, I’ve always appreciated his guidance. And, of course, I’m grateful for the way he’s always looked out for his little sister, making sure Lizzie was happy and cared for.

We may butt heads sometimes — what brothers don’t? — but we always work through it. Nathan’s support has allowed me to balance my adventurous lifestyle with a stable career, and I’m lucky to have him in both my professional and personal life. I’m proud to have him standing by my side on our wedding day.

Nathan Taylor 

Tyler was an unexpected but much-appreciated addition to the crew. He came into the picture thanks to Emily, the Maid of Honor, who had a bit of a track record when it came to dating — let’s just say her choices weren’t always the best. We gave her a hard time about it, but then along came Tyler. And once I found out he drove a truck, even if it’s a two-wheel drive Chevy, I figured he had some solid potential.

Since then, Tyler and I have had countless good times together, and he’s become one of my best bros. Whether we’re out on the water, hunting, fishing, or just kicking back, he’s always up for an adventure. I’m grateful to have a friend like him around, someone who knows how to have a great time and is always down for whatever.

Looking ahead, I’m excited for all the double dates, holidays, and celebrations we’ll share. Hopefully, Emily and Tyler stick around for the long haul — because I’m pretty sure we’re just getting started on making even more memories. Having him stand with me on our wedding day is an honor, and I couldn’t ask for a better friend.

Tyler Tamanini

I met Dom around the time I was graduating high school when Lizzie introduced him to take my graduation photos. What started as a simple photoshoot quickly turned into a solid friendship. From exploring the backcountry trails of Jupiter Farms to chasing sunsets for the perfect photo, we’ve had our fair share of adventures.

Dom’s always up for a good time — whether we’re hitting the beach, cooling off at the Florida Springs, or throwing back a few at a party. He has a knack for bringing an extra level of fun and a little suspense, especially when no one’s quite sure where he’ll end up by the end of the night.

Beyond the laughs, Dom’s the kind of friend you can count on. And when my truck needs a little extra shine, he’s got my back with his expert skills. Seriously, if you ever need your ride looking brand new, check out Dom Jr. Detailing — he’s the best in the game.

I’m lucky to have Dom as a friend and even luckier to have him standing by my side on our wedding day.

Dom Macri 

Tony and I go way back — all the way to middle school. We weren’t exactly part of the “cool kid” crowd, but we had each other, and that was more than enough. Some of my favorite memories are from our social studies class in the portables, where we’d goof off, bend the rules a little, and somehow get away with it thanks to our laid-back teacher.

Even back then, Tony was the kind of friend who treated me with respect, no matter what. I wasn’t the most popular guy around, but having someone like him in my corner meant a lot. Now, in our 20s, our friendship is still going strong. We’ve traded classroom antics for conversations about trucks, bikes, and just about anything mechanical. Tony’s one of the most mechanically inclined people I know, and I’m always grateful to have a friend who I can count on — whether it’s for advice, a helping hand, or just to shoot the breeze.

Tony’s a real one, through and through, and I’m lucky to have him standing with me on my wedding day. Thanks for always having my back, Tony!

Tony Bottoms 

Landon is one of the newest additions to the squad, but he’s already made a big impact. He brings a strong country vibe that fits right in, and I’m looking forward to getting him down to the Keys for many more trips. He’s already proven himself as a captain, on the ride back to the hotel, we were getting absolutely hammered by wind and waves, but Landon kept the wheel steady and the throttle pinned, giving us one of the most unforgettable rides home. Once he gets more time underwater, we’re definitely going to turn him into a solid spearfisherman.

Landon Higginson

I’ve been needing a friend like Devan in my life for a long time. He’s the kind of guy who truly values quality friendships and making memories with the boys, and he’ll do whatever it takes to make it happen. Whether it’s jumping into shark infested water in the middle of the night—in his boxers—to recover lost gear and secure our catch, or stepping up after long boat days to help clean everything up, he always comes through. He’s thoughtful, reliable, and just a great guy. I’m really excited for all the memories ahead and grateful to have him here on my wedding day.

Devan Sellitti

Gage is my ex-military bro and one of the realest guys I know. For the longest time, I thought he was older than me, so finding out we’re actually the same age made me feel even closer to him. He’s been putting in the most effort to become my spearfishing partner—following me into some terrible conditions and still managing to come out with a fish. On this bachelor trip, everywhere I looked, Gage was right there ready to fight a shark or spear something. On top of that, he’s our permanent designated driver, which makes everything that much better.
