Ryan walked into one of Lizzie's first official classes at the local studio in Morganton, and the connection was instant. Little did Lizzie know, someone had suggested to Ryan that he should take one of her yoga classes so he could meet her.

Flash forward several months later, and they reconnected -- this time, Ryan asked Lizzie on a date the next day.

Since then, they have gone through the trials of long-distance, long-distance with COVID-19 travel restrictions, as well as welcoming their son into the world through it all.
