Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK) is the most direct way to get to Nantucket. There are Taxi, Uber, and Bus options from the Airport to Town. Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is another option, which is a ~1.5 hour drive to Hyannis Port or New Bedford to catch the ferry to Nantucket. You can book the Steamship Authority or Hy-Line from Hyannis, or Seastreak from New Bedford.
Where Should I Stay?
See travel section for room block and travel coordinator information. VRBO and AirBNB also provide home rental options in town and elsewhere on the island.
When Should I Book Travel?
June is a very popular wedding & vacation month in Nantucket. We recommend booking lodging as soon as possible and flights in Spring 2025. Ferry tickets, if applicable to your travel plans, should be booked in advance.
Do I Need A Car?
No! Nantucket (Town) is bike friendly and walkable. The island has Taxi and Uber options, as well as an island wide bus. White Elephant guests will also have access to a complimentary car service.
Is There A Dress Code?
Yes! Our dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception is black tie. We ask that men wear a tuxedo and women wear a formal dress or gown.
It's My First Time in Nantucket, What Should I Pack?
Nantucket can get a bit chilly at night! We recommend packing summer attire with light layers for the evenings, and cobblestone friendly shoes.
