Northern Minnesota is a popular vacation destination for people in the Midwest. Because of that, we recommend trying to book your stay sooner rather than later.

Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport is going to be the most versatile and cheapest option for guest to fly into for the wedding. From the airport, it's only about a two and a half hour drive north to get to Brainerd. There is also a small airport in Brainerd for those looking to fly directly into the area, but they have a much more limited schedule.

Mr. and Mrs. Luebbers are planning on renting a tent and pontoons for all guests of the wedding to spend time together before and after the wedding. If you're looking for a great place to hang out and experience life on the lakes in Minnesota, come on over to 7287 Salty Dog Trail, Nisswa, MN 56468.

Costco, Target, Walmart, Aldi, TJ Maxx, and Kohls are all a short distance away from the various hotels and resorts. Don't worry, Nisswa isn't totally in the middle of nowhere.

Because May is early enough in the summer and still pretty cool, there aren't many mosquitoes out. Now, if you're asking about lake flies.....(but they don't bite and are only on the lake as the name suggests).

St. Francis Catholic Church where the ceremony is being held is less than a five minutes drive from Blacksmith Main at Northern Pacific. We promise you won't get lost (unless you have Lizzy's sense of direction, then good luck).

You may hit some afternoon traffic coming up from the cities on Friday and going down to the cities on Sunday. However, since it's still early in the summer, the traffic should not be bad at all. Once you get to Brainerd, you will rarely hit traffic unless there's a car with a boat trailer trying to turn left.
