18 MILES OF PERFECTION
LBI beaches are a special place no matter what time of year.
A historic fishing village on the north end of the island with an impressive fleet of commercial fishing boats. Fisherman work hard on these boats to provide fresh fish and scallops to markets all over the country. Stop by the the tiny old fishing shacks to explore the collection of art and treasures offered by LBI's local artists and business owners. From handcrafted glass work and home decor to nautical antiques and vintage finds, Viking Village is never a bust.
Make your way up to the northern tip of the island and pay a visit to Ol' Barney! Climb 217 steps up this historic lighthouse for scenic views of the island, walk the nature trails to learn about LBI's native plants and wildlife, or make your way to the rock jetty for views of the inlet... a popular fishing spot!
Located on the southern tip of the island (Holgate) is the Wooden Jetty - LBI's most popular surf break and one of our favorite places to visit. Catch views of the Atlantic City skyline or explore the Bird Sanctuary.
Bay Village is the central point of Beach Haven, LBI's downtown area. Here you will find a re-created 19th century waterfront village with lots of cool shops and places to eat.
Mini Golf - Waterslide - Amusement Park - Arcade - Elephant Ears - Chowder - Fudge
This waterfront tennis court is one of our favorite places in the world...and where PJ proposed! Situated on a quaint and (usually) quiet bay beach, this is the perfect place to spend an afternoon. There are several other tennis and pickleball courts on the island that are also open to the public.
