Hotel Quinta Real Oaxaca, situated in the heart of the Oaxaca Historic Centre District, houses more than four centuries of history in its interior. Originally the Convent of Santa Catalina de Siena, the hotel dates back to the 16th century. Founded by Dominican friars, it later became home to cloistered nuns before undergoing various transformations. After being abandoned, it served as government offices, a prison, and a school before finally being restored and converted into a luxury hotel in 1998.

· Paraiso Oaxaca accepts US dollars as well as Mexican pesos (no credit cards).
· The driver will meet the guests outside the arrival area holding a sign with the guest’s name.
· Transportation takes approximately 20 – 25 minutes to the city center.
*Purchasing a ticket for an authorized taxi at the official booths inside the terminal (after baggage claim) is also a safe option. Private taxi rides are $300 MX.
Do not accept rides from unauthorized vehicles outside the airport.
