The dress code for our wedding is beach casual attire. Here is an excerpt from The Knot that will give you an idea on how to dress. This is a loose guideline, feel free to dress up more!
"Casual attire for a beach wedding is kind of like what you'd wear to a nice dinner on vacation. Usually, flip-flops and denim aren't appropriate, but this attire is more relaxed than other wedding attire. Men can wear khaki or chino pants. On top, men can wear a button-down shirt (short sleeves are acceptable) or a solid-color polo. Women can wear sundresses or dressy separates, like a nice top and skirt. Instead of heels, try a pair of strappy or platform sandals."
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear on your invitation.
Are kids invited?
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We are hoping this is a much deserved night off for the parents. Thank you for understanding!
Where is the ceremony?
The ceremony will take place on the beach right next to the Kitty Hawk Pier.
When should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 4:30. Please arrive at least 20 minutes beforehand to ensure you are able to get settled and seated.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony there will be a cocktail hour outside on the pier prior to the reception.
Where is the reception?
The reception will take place inside the Kitty Hawk Pier House.
When do I need to RSVP by?
We ask that you please RSVP by April 15th. To RSVP please use the link that is provided on the website.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, there will be an open bar! The bar will include a variety of options that include beer, wine, and an assortment of liquor. In addition, we have each chosen a signature cocktail!
