Addie, "I'm done trying to find my person. I know God will present them in his timing."

Logan, "I'm done looking for my dream girl. I'm gonna keep fishing and wait for God to present them to me."

In the Beginning...

Logan and Addie starting dating in June 2022 with the help of two determined matchmakers. Addie's aunt, also known as Logan's boss, tried to set them up earlier in the year. They both had gone on enough blind dates to almost immediately say no. She would always mention Logan here and there to Addie, but still nothing would take. It wasn't until that early June 2022 would Logan finally be persuaded to message Addie, with encouragement coming from their close mutual friend, Chelsie.

-Brandi and Chelsie will always hold a special place in our hearts, as the people who brought together a love that God had planned. We will forever be grateful.

First Date...

Logan and Addie had been through enough to realize they didn't want to invest too much into a first date. They decided to meet up and go for a drive around Logan's hometown. They shared with each other their favorite music, and that's it. Logan talked too much and Addie hardly spoke. Logan was trying to make up for the silence and Addie was overthinking everything.

-Looking back we both laugh about the date. It was the WORST first date we'd ever been on.

First Outing...

Logan and Addie took on Springfield with hope and ended the night in confusion. Addie and Anna, her cousin, invited Logan and Ty, his best friend, to go dancing one Saturday night. Addie again, dropped the ball and hardly spoke to Logan. Meanwhile, Logan was having a small panic attack, because of all the people. The boys drove the girls home and said their goodbyes. Logan and Addie gave each other a hug, which felt like a goodbye forever hug. As a last attempt at recovering any chance she had with Logan, Addie leaned back in for a quick kiss on the cheek. Logan does not do cheek kisses. He turned his head so quick they both had no idea what had happened. Logan and Addie had just shared their first kiss.

- We're so happy it happened like this. Now it's unique and hard to forget. Embrace the awkward moments in life. They will bring you laughter for years to come.

First I Love You...

Logan and Addie had said the words I love you before, but not to each other. They both knew the next time they wanted to say it was to their future spouse. Addie was talking to Anna one day when it slipped out. She had finally come to terms that she loved him more than words could describe. She decided to wait until the perfect moment to share with him how she felt. Little did she know, Logan was doing the same thing. Living with roommates and being family oriented didn't make the goal at hand easy. They tried several times to tell one another, but nothing was absolutely perfect. It took about a month to get the words out for Addie. Finally, late one night Addie shared with Logan the love she felt for him. He responded with a smirky grin and said, "I love you, too." It was in that moment they knew it was the last, first time saying I love you to someone.

- We both were so relieved after it all transpired. It was the first time, we'd been with someone who shared the same value of those words.

First Dream...

Logan and Addie grew up dreaming of what they wanted their life to be like. It didn't take long for them both to realize it wasn't going to happen like they planned. Through deep valleys and the highest of mountains they learned to give it all to God. He is the one that brought them together, and sculpted their lives with his loving touch. Now, Logan and Addie can look past all unnecessary wants and focus on what God blesses them with. They are planning on going after the desires God placed in their heart together.

- Our goal is to raise our family on a piece of God's green Earth. So that we may harvest and share the wealth God blesses us with. Big or small.
