How did you get engaged?

Logan Jones blew it out of the water by asking Laura Decker to marry him at a vineyard in Nashville, Tennessee. She said, “Yes, 100%” (direct quote).

How’s it going thus far?

Wonderfully: Wedding date: October 12th, 2024

They met at Biola University when Laura Decker walked up to Logan Jones (the hottest commodity on campus) and introduced herself. Logan seemed a bit stunned at first and unamused thereafter. That was that until three years later when they rekindled their interest in each other through a mutual friend hangout.

Years went by before Laura came to her senses and began to see Logan as more than just a friend. Casual, friendly hangouts turned into drawn-out taco dates, late-night hikes, and random errand runs—really, anything they could find to spend more time together. All was peachy and well until…

Laura got a job in San Diego, and they decided to date long distance. Millions of daily FaceTimes, hundreds of activity-packed weekends, and 25 flights later, their love for each other brought them back together. After almost a full year of dating long distance (really, Logan patiently loving Laura through some highs and lows), the physical gap was finally closed. Laura finally came back to her true home: Logan Jones.

Six months of in-person dating gave each of them a taste of the fullness of life when together and a glimpse into the beauty of a shared life. Both are convinced that no amount of time in the world would ever be enough, but I guess they’ll spend the rest of their lives finding out if that’s true!
